I always have enjoyed Civil War era stories, and this is a really good one!

It’s great to read an old book from time to time. This gave me the break I needed from newer books. This is definitely a good book if you love historical fiction and enjoy military style books. First book I read that was on the North/Yankee/Federal side of the Civil War. So it was an interesting pov. Not only do we have the military style, but we have a hint of love and a surprise mystery. Duels and tactics. This book is full of it all.
