This is a Lovely book which reminds me of childhood sitting in front of the TV Watching Thomas & Friends on Home Video.

I love Percy. I’m glad he got his own book. The first couple of stories were nice. Be yourself unashamedly, but don’t be afraid to be firm with the haters either.

The last two stories were also cute. Good book.

P.S.: Why do some of the illustrations look incomplete?

P.S.S.: It was nice to finally meet Duck and Harold as well.

I was always fond of Percy. He is green (typically my favorite color) plucky for a little guy and happy to help out his fellow engines. Here he shows himself up, not to his best advantage but still ‘human’ – for an engine! 😉

My first Awdry book owned from mid-1970s has ensured that Percy has remained my favourite standard gauge Railway Series engine with only Toby and Duck coming close.
Charming tale of perserverance and humilty in a fun wrapping that stands the test of time.
