Melkoisen hyviä ideoita! Ongelma: tekee mieli kirpputorille ostamaan kaikenlaisia astioita kasvien kasvatukseen.

Not much I didn't already know, but it did give me ideas of what to look for when going to yard sales and thrift stores as far as ideas for pots and planters. It also gave me ideas for some other berries I may try to grow in a balcony garden next year.

Provides great ideas for using unusual household items as plant containers and also gives good info on the compatibility of each plant type to container. The instructions on how to prep each container was also very valuable. I was a tad disappointed however, in the ommission of details pertaining to technical info for each plant type. (i.e. amt of light and water needed) But I did find that I had quite a few items hanging around my apartment that I hadn't thought of using!
Photos are terrific; they really make you want to get your hands dirty!
Overall a very good book on container gardening and worth having in your home library.

Not essential gardening reference. Cute ideas about containers that you can use to grow whatever. A few bits of good advice (like a really cool idea for growing potatoes). Get it at the library and flip through it when you need a little inspiration or you give up your garden for a condo with balcony.

Perfect instruction book for those with limited planting spaces. Grow herbs and table vegetables in bowls, olive oil cans, plastic tubs, etc. Shows vivid pictures, soil mixtures and tips/advice for bountiful harvests! Planning to buy this book for my home library...

not really helpful for a Canadian garden; a little too focused on the deco aspect for my needs.
