Rhodan does not seem to like his new job on Earth (effectively dictator of the planet) because he decides to stay on the World gone mad. Just to get some Robots and a new ship. The Springer robots have been reprogramed in the last issue, except for one. So Pucky has the chance to have fun with it.
There is also a mysterious typical Darlton alien who strictly communicates in italics and is utterly boring.
The most interesting thing about this book is a letter printed on the Editorial page by a German lady called Elizabeth Konig who claims she had been a Nazi who was “reformed” or “entnazifiziert” (denazified) by reading Perry Rhodan! Starting with Infinity Flight.
Can this be true? Seems unlikely, but I do want to believe it.
Looks like the Springers weren't quite beat yet, and of course they had another amazing ship lying around waiting for the good guys to steal.
I'm not sure if it's going to be an ongoing theme or what, but we also got another near-omnipotent mysterious energy being in this one... not grate that only 29 stories out of hundreds in and they are already recycling plots.
Some fun stuff with Pucky on in this one that really saved it though.
An interesting sci-fi read but it was very difficult in the beginning where there were many characters introduced and I felt it was a continuation story which is part of the full Perry Rhodan series.
The book had other writings at the end and also some short stories which were really good and gave me a good insight into serial books which people would get during the 50’s or so.
