When sixteenth-century stone carvings of animals start to go missing from museums across the globe, authorities think it's a simple case of burglary. But Indiana Jones and Marcus Brody think otherwise. Legend has it that the statues serve as a key to finding a mysterious ruby, which is said to make its bearer invincible. It's up to Indy to find the statues and the ruby before it falls into the wrong hands!

I'm a huge fan of all these kid-friendly comics set in the Indy, Star Wars, etc. universes. Super cute, great art, fun adventures! I always grab one when I see it on the shelf at work.

Not sure why this series didn't go on. I mean, I'm sure it was because of sales, but I guess I'm not sure why it didn't sell better. This is the second and I believe final volume. It features another fast-paced adventure in action archeology. The book moves at a fast pace. The art is slightly more interesting in this book than in the first. It's enjoyable.. Wish there were more.

Much like Volume 1, volume 2 of Indiana Jones Adventures is fun and fast paced. The ending could have been better, but it's still an enjoyable read. It's a shame there are only 2 volumes of these little comics. Oh well.

This version of Indy sells itself on being more kid-friendly, a fact that might come as a relief to parents of young kids. That being said, I can't work up any enthusiasm for an Indy adventure this toothless.

I love these! Was great to see Belloq again, and this little series just makes me really want a modern set of Indiana Jones comics and novels.

Story wise, it's a bit odd that there's an artifact that makes someone invincible, but then again this was a better artifact than that scroll that contained a formula that makes super soldiers. That aside, the story itself is decent. Anyone will enjoy it. But what really sold me was the art work itself used for this comic. It was awesome! They way they drew Indy, everything about him, the gestures, the way he stood it felt like it was really Harrison Ford in a cartoon version (and younger). I encourage people to check this out, especially Indiana Jones fans. It maybe for a younger audience, but older fans can enjoy it. I am convinced that an animated Indiana Jones film or television show is possible. Just hire the guy who drew the comic.

Well, Volume 2 doesn't disappoint. I think these were short enough to be combined for sure, but they are really fun adventures. I hope that we can get some more Indy in comics, with the fifth film on the way. Star Wars has had a run with IDW on it's Star Wars Adventures line and I am hoping for Indy to get an ongoing series of some kind. After all, adventure DOES have a name...

A let down compared to the first. The art was still good, but the story was a bit too simplistic. 2 1/2 stars, really, because it's not that it's BAD, it's just not GOOD. the first volume of this series had a pretty impressive, involved storyline. I'm not ready to quit on the series at all yet.

I'm glad to have any new Indy adventures nowadays, but this did not live up to my expectations set by the first one. Still entertaining, but not the full Indy feel to it.
