This is a fabulous cookbook! "Cooking from above" does not refer to recipes from Heaven; rather it means that everything--from the ingredients to the steps--is illustrated by beautiful, simple photographs taken from above the food! (Hard to explain--look at the cover picture; all the pictures throughout the book are just like that.)
It made everything look so delicious even in its simplest form of raw ingredients, and the steps are so easy that I thought, "I could do this," as I looked at each one. It was also fun to mentally "taste" things as I flipped through. I saw this on the display shelf of our local library, but it's going on my list to Santa now!
