Puny and powerless after an unfortunate encounter with a magical girl, the Dark Realm's Number Two has her work cut out for her in the world of humans!
After countless obstacles, the Great Jahy finally— finally —manages to get her hands on a mana crystal!
Now, with her pride as the Dark Realm’s No. Two on the line, Jahy prepares to battle the magical girl and defeat her once and for all?! What tremendous turn will Jahy's fate take this time?!
For even when the weather thwarts her plans, even when she’s wracked by paranoia, the Great Jahy will not be defeated!!
This feels like it might be the first time the plot really felt like it might be moving forward (or doing anything but spinning in episodic circles)- so this is the first Jahy volume I'm rating higher than a 3.
They've been entertaining enough to keep me going back to the library for the next volume (at a leisurely pace), but up until this one, I'd been a bit disappointed with how it felt like none of the character relationships were ever really progressing or changing.
3.75 Stars. With some major progress being made, and with comedic hijinks accompanying it this volume moves the story forward more so than any before it. From finally seeing the dark lord to the magical girl being pacified this volume contains two major events back to back, and we get to see a decent example of Jahy's power.

Wasn't quite sure about this volume. I've liked them all so far, but I've always felt its been going in circles, although the way this volume ended looks.to have broken that trend. I hope so anyway!
