I find this book dull, way too long, and annoying. My three-year-old likes it for some inexplicable reason--just because it's cartoon characters, I guess. I may have to lose it under the bookshelf or something...

ETA 2019: Now L likes listening to this book occasionally. I still find it tedious and probably should have put it in the giveaway pile ages ago.

ETA 2023: We do a book purge once a year or so to pass on books the kids have outgrown. Every year I've tried to get rid of this book and every year the kids have said no. This year finally, FINALLY they agreed that we could pass it on. As I was boxing it up J said, "God, I really hated that book." I never knew he hated it just as much as I did. Good riddance!

(Review from my 7 year old) Fred Flinstone is kind of bossy. He blames other people for his mistakes. But he likes to swim and eat steak, and if he doesn't like someone he likes to prank them.

Yeah, I liked the book.
