Try Meat and Poultry-based snacks such as Albondigas (meat balls with tomatoes) and Chorizo al Vino (chorizo in red wine) -- or Fish and Seafood examples such as Almejas a la Marinera (clams in white wine, tomato, and saffron sauce) or Mejillones Rellenos (fried mussels with ham). Vegetables in tapas are heaven for vegetarians. They include Pimientos Picantes (marinated bell peppers) and delicious Delicias de Queso (cheese balls). TAPASTIC! I use to have this fantasy of running away to Spain after I won the lottery; just living life and not having to worry about anything (Greece sometimes replaces Spain). I would wake up in the late afternoon and start going from bar to bar - eating my favorite tapas well into the night - and then sleeping the next day away. Oh well, one can dream!

The clearest recipes that you can follow with minimal steps. Pictures accurate and very well done without being overdone. My go-to book to make an assortment of tapas for a dozen people quickly and simply, some in advance.

A splendid collection of recipes for the Spanish tapa lover. I've enjoyed many of the dishes included in the bite-sized cookbook both in Spain and at home. One of my favorites is the albondigas or meatballs in tomatoe sauce. Each time I put together the recipe, the meatballs turn out moist and savory - such a delight! And, of course, one can't go wrong with the old classic gazpacho. This light tomatoe soup is tastey and, true to the title, quite easy to make!
