J.P. Bowie returns to his Vampire universe with another story where your simple next door man meets handsome and wealthy vampire.

Micah works in a West Hollywood bookstore and lives in a one bedroom apartment. He is an everyday guy with and everyday life. He was dumped from his boyfriend to be too bored and after some months of mourning he is ready to go out and try again. Like in all the worthy romance, the very first night he meets Joseph, an handsome stranger in Los Angeles for "some" business

This book pulled me in. I wanted to know Joseph's back story and it was revealed in small bits for a while. Micah caught my interest too. I enjoyed seeing characters from the 1st two books play strong supporting roles in this one.

It's written in 1st person, but switches between Joseph's and Micah's POV (point of view) so both characters' thoughts are presented.

Read this whole series and though its a bit cliched...vampire meets boy, vampire sleeps with/bites boy, boy becomes vampire, vampires live happily for all eternity....its still a good read has action in each book because each vampire has a problem from there past they must take care of to save the life of there mate themselves and the relationship between them.

I just couldn't finish this book. It was boring and all around deep as a mud puddle. I didn't read previous parts so I can't be sure but to me it seemed as everyone was making childish mistakes and never own them. Markus was a reason for Joseph's suffering and being abused because he didn't thought it was good time to be together when they first meet. And it doesn't seems like he was sorry after that. Everything could be different if he didn't though he knows the fuck better - which he didn't.

Duet in blood, in my opinion, is the best in the series so far. The MCs are Micah and Joseph. I liked Micah because he was smart, strong willed and funny. I even liked Roger a lot more in this story. My only issue is I feel it was a little rushed and compacted. But overall I really enjoyed it:)

J.P. Bowie was born and raised in Aberdeen, Scotland. He wrote his first (unpublished) novel – a science fiction tale of brawny men and brawnier women that made him a little suspect in the eyes of his family for a while.

Leaving home at age eighteen for the bright lights of London, he found himself in the midst of a “diverse and creative crowd” that eventually led him to the performing arts. For th
