the story is told in a series of letters form Mary Magdalene to someone named Phillip. It is a fictional account of Mary's life - so sad & so happy. It tells of her horrible life - that is until she meets a very special person named Jesus and her life turns around. The letters revolve around five symbols on a pendant & each of the 5 letters from Mary to Philip explain the five symbols. Its a story of heartbreak, fear, lave & mostly forgiveness. A short book, but a must-read for anyone looking for a sign that Jesus will forgive, regardless of what you have done in the past.

I love this book so much! It tells the story of the gospel and what Jesus went through from Mary Magdalene's perspective. I reread it and still loved it the second time. The symbols perfectly represent my Christian beliefs in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
