4. The people smiled because David Beckham was small and thin. I could understand this meaning at first. Because I thought that he can play soccer very well if a person is small and thin.

5. I like soccer very much. So I know David Beckham. But I had not known his history in detail. It was good for me to know this from reading this book.

The information is very easy to read and comprehend, perfect for beginners. However, the grammatical structures employed to make it simple and readable are sometimes awkward and unnatural.
