this book was very interesting, but only at night because at day people dont get scared, but at night people start to imagine things and there is when this book gets interesting
i remember one story from this book and it was about this man who was driving home on a rainy day and he sees a lovley girl on the rain waiting for the bus, so he offers her to take her to her house. on there way home they get to know each other. when they got to her house he invited her to have breakfast with her so she say"i would loved that". the next morning he comes to pick her up but instead there was an old woman in her house, he askes do you know Jasmine ( that was her name)
she say come in we need to talk. she shows a picture of jazmine, but the picture looked old, he askes the old women " why is this picture so old" she says: this was my daughter 25 years ago, she was waiting for the bus on a rainy day a car hit her and she died. the guy felt he was going to die becuase he was about to date a ghost. see what i mean by intersting to read. i give this book 4 stars

I first heard/read this book when I was 11. It was a slumber party where they took turns reading it out loud. It was the first kids horror book that I actually found scary. Most books especially children's books would never kill off kids but this one does. Very freaky. I loved it.

I'm glad they changed the artist for the rest of the series, the pictures in this one were kind of goofy.

Welch passes the torch on to Q. L. Pearce, who does an admirable job keeping the Sleepovers series going for many, many volumes. Her first outing yields an impressive number of scares, and many of the stories are equally memorable compared to the originals.

Pearce's other Sleepover installments were hit or miss, but this is a solid first effort that belongs on the shelf next to the original anthology.

The stories are really spooky. The art is creepy. If you don't want to be scared the book is categorized and will tell you if they are meant to be funny ,spooky to surprise friends and more. I love how this is organized at the back of the books it explains what the story meant or what happend at the end . I really love it

This book is actually a lot scarier than the "Scary stories to tell in the dark" books. One of the stories from it called "Crying Wolf" has haunted me for years haha. There is violence and actual deaths of kids in these stories sometimes too.
