Lindsey is a bad girl, and she’s determined to stay that way. She’s been called a slut enough to know it’s true, and she’s not ashamed of the fact anymore. She makes it known to every man she comes in contact with that she’s available for the taking—the rougher, the better. When she meets Lieutenant Zachary Davis on one of her many trips to the principal’s office, she fina ...more

When you pick up a Selena Kitt book, you know you are probably going to get something super smutty with at least a little taboo thrown in--this one is no exception. Honestly, if you don't like dirty and you don't like taboo, then you just need to steer clear of Kitt's novels--I for one am not one of those people. I say bring on the smut and I can handle most taboo topics at least once!

I went on quite a journey with this book today.

It is a sex-filled, crazy hot story but with a very dark undercurrent. It features abuse and some really intense situations, not for readers who shy away from stories about intense trauma. I was alternatively horrified and enticed by the beginning of the story. I thought that the author really challenged me as a reader to understand this character and get into her head-space. I was actually thinking about giving this 3 or more stars unt

This was my 4th book by Kitt and she never fails to interest me. I can't say this one was my favorite, but I actually liked the plot for Falling Down. For the most part, Kitt is all about the taboo and the smut, but this one had a very sweet love story, which surprised me.

WARNING : There are very detailed rape scenes in this book. The main character had been dealing with sexual abuse since the age of 12, and couldn't seem to avoid bad situations. I felt like the author handled this with a dash o

Hussy isn't just the name of this story but how Lindsey identifies herself. She seems like a completely sexually free spirited rebel without a cause. Everything from her walk, to her clothes screams "for a good time call," and she is completely fine with that. When she meets Lt. Zachery Davis in the midst of one of her adventures, he seems like another possible addition to the roister. She just is unsure about what he see when he lo

This is my second book that I read by Selena Kitt. After reading one of her books, I wasn't surprised to read a book that would be categorized as smut and erotica and also a little taboo topic thrown into it.

Hussy is about a girl named Lindsey who admittedly enjoyed sex and rough sex in general. Lindsey was practically described as a slut. She had no shame about it. She enjoyed casual sex and multiple partners. All that changed when she met Lieutenant

I received this book for an honest review. (cant find the message group I received this book thru sorry) Thank you again Selena Kitt again for letting me read and review your book! I thought at first I wouldn't like it with Lindsey and her being easy with everyone and the rape scenes. I like bdsm but not rape or role playing rape. I have been raped so maybe it plays a role (it's an awful feeling of pain, helpless and feeling dirty to no point of cleaning can fix) but I really enjoyed this book. ...more

I don't know where to begin but I guess there is always a starting point and I will start at the beginning. I must point out that I am not a prude; I read a variety of storylines with topics that are wide ranging but every once in a while a novel does not appeal to me and HUSSY, sad to say, will not make my list of recommendations or classic literature.

-I was warned by the author there is graphic depiction of sex and that the storyline contained subject matter that may be sensitive or shocking b

Falling Down by Selena Kitt
Lindsey is a slut. What is a slut? A person who sleeps around. She is not only a slut but she likes it rough. There is a scene where she sets up a meeting to be gang banged.

One after the other she is depicted in sexually explicit situations. I love Selena Kitt's writing and I truly adore the unflinching nature of this character. She did not battle over if what she was doing was wrong. She just wanted sex. It didn't matter when, where or who.

This was a DNF for me. I couldn't get into the title and realized it wasn't what I thought it would be. I found this novel to be offensive and taking a few steps back in the empowerment of women. I believe I get what the author was trying to do, but it didn't work here. And the fact that the heroine says "Negro" in the text, completely turned me off. As far as I know, this book isn't set in the past where the word would have fit in context. Here, I found it offensive and distasteful. I had no re ...more

Hussy is a book that contains several different genres all in one book! If I had only read just the first 1/3 of the book, I'd have classified it as "taboo" erotica. When I first began reading the story, I was shocked at how outside of the norm the main character's sexual behaviors were. I don't want to give away any spoilers so all I will say is that I was slightly disturbed yet highly entertained while reading the adventures of a very promiscuous 18-year-old old high school girl. As the story

I am torn on how to rate this book. I will go with the 3 stars because it WAS a good story. But it was also very disturbing. I love how everything came together but it was difficult seeing how there was going to be a happily ever after. The author did a good job with that.

"Don't worry, dear--a hussy is just a woman with the morals of a man."

With the words of her grandmother ringing in her ears, Lindsey shows no shame with her attitude towards sex. "Hussy" is a bit of an old-fashioned word, but it's Lindsey's favorite and she plays it to the hilt. And if you don't believe me, just read the first chapter of this Selena Kitt novella.

Lindsey is introduced to us as she leaves her house for the night, lying to her parents about her true destination: a treehouse full of

Baumgartners series: 95% sex scenes, 5% storyline
Hussy: 60% sex scenes, 40% storyline

Prior to this, I have read Selena's decadent Baumgartners series. It was lacking a storyline, but delish naughtiness-cover to cover. With Hussy, however, Selena took on a slightly different approach. There's an actual storyline, centering around a broken girl Lindsey - touching on real issues like incest and rape.

“Don’t worry, dear—a hussy is just a woman with the morals of a man.”

Lindsey has a reputation, a hard earned one she's proud of. She's not afraid to embrace her sexuality and she can usually be seen flaunting it. There is no shame for her in picking up a random man, nor does she have regrets, that is until Zach comes along. Zach teaches her that regardless of the things that have happened to her, she has s

The Cover
The cover is basic. It's very suggestive and bright.

The Characters
There are a few characters. Lindsay and Zach being the major ones.
Other characters that add to the story are Billy, Lindsay's mum and her stepfather.

In the beginning, we don't know much about Lindsay except that she likes sex and has a bad rep. Zach is the nice, kind guy who patiently helps Lindsay with her problems.

I'm indifferent to the characters. I don't like them and I don't dislik

Hussy, by Selena Kitt, is a mixed bag. The books starts with Lindsey, the school slut and friend to many, having sex with anyone she meets, generally rough and occasionally taboo. Some of these scenes are a little too toe-curling for my tastes - I'm not prudish, I also write erotica, but weeing and forced sex aren't my cup of tea, sorry. She then meets her hero in uniform, reveals dark secrets and has a bad encounte

I really liked this book. I love how Serena Kitt is calling attention to the situation to what happened to Lindsay and what happens to women and girls all alike all over the world. This book made me laugh and cry a lot. I think this is my favorite of Selena Kitt because I loved the ending. I thought it was so romantic and I'm soooooo happy for Lindsay and Zachary I thought they deserved the happiness after all the pain they went through together. I think Zachary is perfect for each other. He is ...more

What is a slut? Indiscriminate sex with all comers is one sure sign. Lindsey sure qualifies. Lindsey will have sex with anyone. Unprotected rough sex with total strangers. It's tough to read in parts. When rough sex with strangers turns to rape it's really tough to read. That doesn't mean it isn't good. One of the reasons we read is to feel something. This book certainly does that. But I'm just not sure what it made me feel.

My rating would be 4.5 out of 5.

I believe the author really put herself out there on several taboo situations and relationships. Was it hard reading about poor Lindsey and her self destructive self....absolutely!! It was detailed and to hear someone so young..heartbreaking! But I knew that there was a reason why she was doing this to herself and to find out the reason behind it, gut wrenching!

I would ask that the reader to have an open mind and not be judgmental of the character or when they r

This was one of those stories, that I went in expecting one thing, and walked away having gotten something completely different. This book is not for the faint-hearted, if you don’t like dark erotic romances, this is NOT for you. I like those kinds of stories, but to be completely honest, I actually had to step away during one especially painful scene. This book had almost no fluffy parts all, it feels more like a datelines report than a
To be honest, I'm sure like most people I went into this book thinking one thing and came out thinking another. When I first started the book, I was a bit shocked at the explicit sexuality of Lindsey at only 18. Some girls are like that, I don't know the reasons why. When I found out the reasons behind Lindsey's behavior after something else happens, it just broke my heart. I was glad that she had found Zack, and hoped that he would be there for her. He was different from all the others from the ...more

Everyone is treating Lindsey like a slut, even her family. She's doing with the reputation and putting on a smile and an I-don't-care-I-am-proud-of-what-I-am attitude. The guys wants to use her to do naughty things and the girls are insulting her. But the thing is, nobody knows the real reason of all this. Maybe this is just all an appearance? But who cares if it's true or not, if she wants it or not? No one.

Except Zachary. He'll break down her walls

First of all a big thank you to Selena Kitt for allowing me to read for my review.

I enjoyed Lindsey she was a girl whom didn't quite understand what she needed in life to come find out Zachary was her anchor of sorts in her chaotic life. To go beyond the horrid things and situations Lindsey goes through she holds up amazingly. I would definitely say if you enjoy Selena's work you will not be disappointed in this one. My God.

Selena Kitt is possible my favourite erotica writer. And this is the only one I've read so far. She represents everything I hoped for in Twilight that didn't happen. Although the characters are not particularly original (especially the male romantic interest - navy guy going to Iraq?! Really?! And he doesn't die?!), considering how much better this is than other romances I've read (i.e. way more daring, but that's just my taste), I'm quite happy about it. Hehehehehe.

*3.5 STARS*
This was a difficult one to read.  Lindsey was so incredibly screwed up.  It wasn't easy to like her but once you realized all that she had been through, her actions were understandable.  It's really too bad that she really didn't have anyone to stick up for her until she met Zach.
I figured this one was just going to be a bonk fest and that's what I was prepared for, but it was more than that, and there was also a pret
