Oh, except for the fact that this book is SO FREAKING SAD, it was amazing and I loved it. Truly amazing story of love and perserverance. No matter how many times Pen walked away, Steve just kept pulling her back. In the first one, Steve to me came off as a VERY very vanilla boring lover...but it turns out it really WAS just that Katie wasn't the one, because hello, the sex scenes in THIS book were incredibly hot and a lot more frequent than in Only Tyler. Fire it up, Steve, INDEED. (view spoiler ...more

Loved, loved, loved this book. Definitely one of the most touching stories I've read in a very long time. The love scenes were great (typical of Jess Dee books), but the story line in this one was incredibly touching.

You will definitely need the whole box of tissues for this one. There were several times I had to put down my Kindle and wipe away the tears as I was crying too hard to read the screen.

Spoilers ahead:

This book had me sobbing by the end...very unusual twist on a HEA.

Steve is Penelope Bonnard's story, the sister of Tyler (from Tyler). It has a similar plot and many intersections with Tyler. She's only back because Tyler's been in a serious motorcycle accident, she didn't come back for Steve, unfortunately for Steve.

Steve is just as emotional as Tyler, and Steve and Penelope s

I liked this one as much as the first one. Poor Steve, the guy just can't catch a break. I knew he'd end up having to chase her half way around the world before she'd come back. The story was predictable but it was sweet none the less. Found myself getting a little teary at the end.

Jess Dee lives in beautiful Sydney, Australia, with her husband, their two sons and their insane dog - a ridiculously overweight puggle named Luigi.

An avid romance reader since her early teens, Jess knew one day, when she grew up, she’d have to write her own love stories. It might have taken a while, but in December of 2005, she finally got “the call.” Her first book, Photo Opportunity had been co
