This book is full of good straightforward and sensible advice. Each of the 12 week plans seem like they are feasible.
I galloped through it in just under 2 days. Which is good going for me.
It should be noted that this guide skews more towards the beginner than an experienced athlete. As someone who is somewhere between the two I found it enjoyable and easy to read.

Great book for anyone thinking about joining the armed forces. The training plans are spot on and very similar to what we actually do. My only small gripe is that week two jumps straight into 2×10 pull-ups - which is pretty tough for someone at level 1!
