Curtis Tong is my mother's cousin. This is his memoir of the years he spent in a Japanese internment camp in the Philippines during WWII. His parents were missionaries and caught in the Southern Philippines at the outset of the war. Curt was about 10 years old and had an older and younger sister. I have heard about this since a child.
