To Be Hung from the Ceiling By Strings of Varying Length
This groundbreaking poetry collection is a work of interval, delay, and retracing; a writing of shifts of silence. Each page serves as a kind of frame that superimposes itself temporally, aurally, and visually on pages that come before and after.
Rick Reid is a conceptual artist and writer currently living in Brooklyn, New York.

It's hard to hold a book like this, in hand, without having the raw desire to tear it gently apart, word from limb, and string it-- with blue electrician's tape, agave gum and a bit of rubbing alcohol--as the title asks.
True art, the words of Rick Reid sound like a girl on a three-legged chair, teetering to catch her balance, while attaching said strings to her vaulted ceiling: breathless, enchanted, loud.
Truly smashing. Truly visionary. Truly.
