Dazzling and daring Sabrina Lindsey had a knack for defying social conventions. Her endless escapades in London society enraged her guardian whose only solution was to send her to Bath before her exploits came to the attention of her titled suitor. Little did Sabrina know that her lifestyle would be matched by a viscount masquerading as a notorious highwayman.
This is one of those books I didn't put down until I finished it. Great romance with some suspense and adventure thrown in. A story of a strong willed Sabrina, who's under the thumb of her uncle, her guardian who's trying to marry her to an old man. Sabrina is trying to rescue her brother who the guardian is using as pawn to control Sabrina. Then there's Jack, a notorious rake, who seduces Sabrina thinking one night will be all..how wrong he is. There's also their married friends who struggle in their marriage, and whose story is intertwined with Sabrina's and Jack's. The characters are well-written and the story is well developed. I recommend this to anyone who likes romances and a story that holds your interest
This novel went in many directions. I enjoyed many parts of the book but some parts felt like they were thrown in just to make the book longer. It seemed as if I was reading another book at times. I love learning about all the different characters and escapades but some of them made me think they would better suit in a side novel. The story was fun so I wouldn't dissuade anyone from reading it.
