A book about marshmallow Peeps. Really, what could be better than that? :-) Spring Peeps! works well as a very simple early counting book (it only goes up to the number five, not ten as do most such offerings), but it's probably most enjoyable as a relic of one of Easter's most delicious treats. Yum! :-)

Yeesh. I checked this book out for my 15 month-old niece because of the big squishy Peep. That part is great— she liked it a lot, but otherwise it’s one big commercial placement. The moral of the story: just because a book is holiday themed and has a fun, textured element does not make it worth reading. It would have been one star, but I added an extra because she did like the Peep.
