Dated but interesting

So I am an LCSW, and part of my practice is working with individuals involved in the criminal justice system. I got this book because I was interested in how people saw crime in days gone by, as well as the fact that the book was free. Obviously some of the ideas and opinions expressed are very much obsolete. However, it was also interesting to read some issues that the author brought up that are still debated today.
