This book reads like a college thesis. Very dry and business-like presentation of some basic design history, principles and applications. It is like a research paper from someone visiting the world of design. It makes a case for the value of design when applied to business problems. A subject that has been handled in a much more entertaining way by others.

درسته مطالب قدیمیه و با الان زیاد فرق کرده باشه اما خوندنش خالی از لطف نیست. فقط با نوع نوشتار و ترجمه زیاد ارتباط برقرار نکردم و کمی سخت بودن درک منظورات اما از تلاش نویسنده ممنونم.

This is a great resource for businesses and design firms alike looking to champion the value of design for integration into all aspects of business. It is thoroughly researched with real-world documentation of the value of design in building brand value and corporate innovation. The process of managing design and collaborating with all segments of the business, both internal and with external partners is explored. It also highlights some of the difficulties that a design manager may encounter and how to work around some of those issues.

In addition, it includes a large number of tables and graphs that can easily be adapted to help explain and implement planning for design managers presenting these concepts to the uninitiated. This is a resource I plan to refer to in the future.

کتاب مدیریت دیزاین در ایران در 3 بخش جداگانه ترجمه شده است، که متاسفانه در حال حاضر فقط جلد اول، کتاب حاضر در دسترس است.
جلد اول برای شروع این کتاب مرجع و تخصصی بسیار خوب بخش بندی شده بود
