LESLEY ROBERTS BEd, MSc is an executive coach and adventurer who has been coaching outdoors since 1999. Her academic research focused on how nature can support coach and client. After 16 years with Mars Inc she founded Brave Conversations, working with global teams and individuals to unlock their potential. In 2019 she founded Coaching Outdoors to bring the benefits of partnering with nature to as many people as possible.
One of the best coaching books I have read. I bought it after doing one of Lesley's courses and it has changed how I now coach. More importantly, it covers so much and brings front and centre that coaching outdoors is o much more than "just going outside or walking with a client." There are so many important considerations even before leaving the house/office.
Perhaps what most people will get from this is they way she guides you into ysing nature effectively in different situations and conversations.
As someone that loves being outdoors, I was looking for a fresh perspective and ideas on bringing my coaching practice outdoors more. Lesley does a wonderful job of laying out the case for coaching outdoors, has included many ideas and exercises as well as reflection questions.
