This was an Audible recording of the lost episode. The sound recording was available but the images are lost. So in this case they used the original sound recording for the speaking parts with a audio description narration by William Hartnell apparently. It wasn't bad, but I preferred Marco Polo.

This first doctor episode sadly no longer exists in visual format. But, the audio is compete . The missing parts are narrated by Ian Chesterton himself.
