I always enjoy Atlanta Bartlett's books. Lots of great eye candy. Not as accessible and affordable as most of us need, but no less inspiring for that.

If you carefully curate selected hand-me-downs your sense of elegance will show. Avoid clutter and random Tchotchkes though.
