This book is great on theory behind applying business models of quality to education. However, the theory is what is most covered in this book, rather than real reform to improve the quality of education. I think a reversal of weights (more on the reform rather than the theory) would have made this book much more useful to administrators, teachers, reformists, parents, and even those just concerned about the state of education in our country. Read this if you want a theoretical knowledge of quality, but remember that application is more important in the field of education.

For one second I'd like to applaud engineers.

From evolution to education, I keep reading books by people who are formally trained in engineering but feel that they are qualified to talk about everything else too
