We really can find God in all things, but sometimes our encounters with God can be incredibly small, subtle, and simple. Bumping into God Again by Fr. Dominic Grassi gives us a glimpse of the graces we can experience in everyday life and in places where we might least expect to find God's presence. These 35 stories remind us that unexpected graces can be found in countless simple yet marvelous ways. To find God in all things, we need only be open and listening.
I really liked this book as well as his first one. I liked his down- to- earth examples of what he is talking about. Too often religious writers reached way over the layman's and laywoman's head. The author's examples are ones I could easily connect with. For example, I especially liked his section about stories of God's absence. Sandy could never forgive God for her mother's cancer and hers also. She laid on her death bed with a priest holding her hand and simply died, still unforgiving. Muir Woods was another example, a spooky place especially when a person is lost. God appears to be nowhere. I would recommend this book to anyone.
