Boynuna kaşkol filan geçiriyo ...more

- Porque não veem as portas.
- Quais portas?

There's a little bit of magical realism in this one, as well as a theological undertone ("angelo" means "angel" and Tamaro is a devout Catholic). And boy, does Tamaro know how to create tension in a story. By the end I was tempted to cheat via Google Translate, because my slow reading speed couldn't keep up with that sense of "must find out what happened, now!" If you're a non-native speaker, this would be around an intermediate Italian reading level. More of my thoughts on this title can be fou ...more

A lovely tale for children of all ages! The Author has true poetry in her style, the story is natural yet rich of meaning. The characters are fresh and sometimes surprising. The little girls adventure in search for meaning and for happiness is a lesson for all.
