Unlike the other sugar art book on my "read" list, "Cakes by Design", this book actually has step-by-step progressive photos of gumpaste flowers as they are being made. The only reason this book isn't getting a top rating from me is that the particular method presented leaves you with flowers that look kind of like they are made out of play-doh. Not ~quite~ as life-like as one would like. But still, a fantastic step-by-step guide to basic gumpaste flower making.

This was a lot of fun to learn through this book. The teacher really used a good medium by using this book to teach us how to hand mould flowers from gumpaste.

There is a nice step by step guide but the arrangements are old fashioned and the flowers are not always as life like as the could be.
