E utila ca prima lectura pentru fetele mai mici, dar poate parea banala pentru cele mai mari sau mai informate.

Read it just for old times' sake. I remember being in sixth grade, and a girl bought this from the Scholastic Book Fairs, and I remember all the girls were crazy about reading it.

Ahh, I'm getting nostalgic.

If your girl has any interest in secret codes, she probably already knows Morse code, can substitute A for 1, pig Latin, and the like. The book is like a 1950s throwback!

This seems like it would best be geared to girls who have not hit the tween stage--but then there's all this discussion of texting to one's friends.

Cute book, though!
