of all the shibori books i've looked at so far, i like this one best.

it has better, clearer information and step by step pictures on how to mix up different types of dyes and create gorgeous patterns. wonderful beautiful designs. and it has better info about setting the dyes, which i hadn't really understood from other books. it explains how to make your own equipment/lab for setting dyes from a stainless steel bucket, a portable single burner (hotplate), and foil.

This book is a really good introduction to different Shibori designs and how to reproduce them on different types of fabrics. Good information about dyes and dye safety as well.
