Rate this book
Reading Do You Have the Guts to be Beautiful will alter the very way in which readers look in the mirror, and provide them with more detail than even their doctors can give them from the fanciest and most expensive tests. Drs. Ray and Daniels share some little-known miracles of the body and, specifically, how each face tells a story of what is happening inside the body. After reading this book, readers will be able to unlock the messages their faces are giving them; they'll learn simple, yet effective steps they can take to look and feel better, sans pills, chemicals, or complicated recipes. Drs. Ray and Daniels reveal simple, natural practices for reversing wrinkles, blemishes, graying, and baldness, and feeling young again.

I enjoyed Mitra Ray's "From here to Longevity" and have seen her speak several times in person. Have had a recent, very bad round of cystic acne, that I traced to Milk Allergy, I've been trying to recover my skin's health.

This book provides some excellent sounding advice for skin and how to help keep it looking good, naturally. I'll definately be trying the facial. Not sure if I can manage the elixr to improve hair growth, but it might be worth trying.

What was extremely interesting to me was the chapter on water. I have an RO filter in my home because my local ground water is contaminated by a gas station leaking MTBEs into the ground. I was surprised to read that RO water could lead to potential damage to bones and even hair. I'll investigate more and possiblly follow the recommendations for mineral supplementation. I'm not a fan of most supplements, but this might be one of the exceptions.
