(Gay / Erotica / Dark Fantasy / Vampire / BDSM / Ménage [M/M/M] / Group Sex / Voyeurism / Series) Jesse Madding finds himself caught between three gorgeous men, an ancient demon, and a dedicated group of cultists...A simple case for Gideon Keel and Jesse Madding turns into something far more complicated when they discover their friend's trouble-prone nephew was doing a lot more than just studying demon history. Jonah stole a holy book, and now the cultists he stole it from want it back. Protecting Jonah becomes even more vital when Jesse learns just who it is the cultists worship--Castelain, an immortal demon who walks between worlds. Jesse finally has a name for the creature that stole Black John's power, the creature that wiped Gideon's memory, and the creature that possessed Emma. Might he also have a name for the being that nearly took his life and kidnapped Emma?

I can understand why just about everybody and their brother are attracted to Jesse – including a good friend’s nephew – but Gideon’s reaction was a little … different. The mystery of Emma’s disappearance is almost solved and Jesse continues to learn more about what his new role is as a Guardian. Will they find Emma and become three again?
The punishment scene was harsh, difficult to read and completly inutile. Gideon accuse Jesse of flirting (he smiled!!!) and act out of proportion. He abuse his power over Jesse and add Jonah in this uncomfortable scene. I love BDSM and passed a lot of unsafe thing in all the books books because of the fact that Gideon's a vampire but this was too much and I dare to say abusive. Gideon really have to make an examination of his conscience.
A lot of explication in this book. I understand more but some thing remain unclear and some do no seems to work. Not a lot of action but a new couple is formed. I prefer de type of submision that David and Jonah are fond, I'm not a fan of masochist so I was appy to read about them. Michelle a little less in the dog house in this one and I do not dislike her complety. She seems more relax. As for John and Castelin, there story is not finish
Now, just have to read the last....

Jesse and Gideon have to find Derek's missing nephew who has disappeared while researching Gideon and Emma's possession. After finding Jonah, Jesse realizes that they may actually be close to discovering the truth about Emma's disappearance. Add to that introducing David's sexy counterpart in their dimension, this makes for a good read. As usual, my only complaint is the I WANT MORE!!! Craig leaves me craving the next installment of her series.
This book isn't for people who dislike BDSM. It definitely isn't for the reader who can't stand the idea of blood and sex. It's a combination that I can only handle in paranormals. Since Gideon is a vampire and Jesse is immortal, it doesn't detract from the story for me. Plus, the fact that Gideon doesn't derive pleasure from actual cruelty makes it easier for me to take. He truly wants to bring Jesse pleasure, and the reader knows that Gideon doesn't for Jesse to do anything he doesn't want.
I have loved this entire series though the relationship with Jesse and Gideon is far more appealing to me than the menage. For me personally Jesse and Gideon are the perfect blend and the occasional sharing is hot they really don't need anyone to complete them. IMHO This is the ninth book in the series I have read and Gideon is just as hot as he was in book one and Jesse has always been more of the sweetheart sub but he has evolved into the perfect mix of sweet and badboy hottie!!
