Coming off DragonCon and really missing my friends and the con environment, this was such a fun, feel-good short read to tide me over. I've missed being in the Geekerella world way more than I thought, and it's just a good story to tie in various plot points both between and after books in the series. Really enjoyed it, and fans of the series should definitely give it a read.

I was disappointed in this to be completely honest. Vance and Rosie were my favorite couple in this series so I naturally assumed they would get a short story. They do not and that really kind of killed this collection for me.

Once At Midnight - This was adorable, the kind of sweet that makes your teeth ache but it's worth it. The story centers around Elle and Darien's first date. It was sweet and sappy and had all the feels in it that a first date should entail. Darien is freaking out over which tie to wear (this is the wrong shade of blue) and Elle is nervous that without the con and everything else going on around them that she won't be enough. Once they finally get together (Elle thinks his tie is the perfect shade of blue) things start out a little awkward but ends really sweet.

Once A Princess - I felt this could have been better. Since book two focused on two different couples, I don't like the fact that this story only really focused on Jessica and her girlfriend. I wanted more of Imogen and Ethan. Truly my favorite parts were when it was mentioned how Imogen is trying to be Vance's friend. I wanted more of that aspect because it seems an abrupt change that Imogen would dump a milkshake on him and then be his best friend in the next book.

Once An Ever After - This one ripped my heart out. It deals with Darien and Elle's breakup and why they decided to call it quits after the accident with Vance. It spans over the course of a few years. I skimmed this one before I really read it and because of one specific event that happens in this one, I put off reading it. I just wasn't ready for what I was going to happen. I did appreciate all the cameos of everyone (even if Vance and Rosie were only in it for one page) and it did have a sweet ending that made sense.

Overall, I was disappointed in this collection. I found the only one I genuinely liked to be the first one. I thought the author would give a short story for each couple and take place some time after each individual novel happened. While I can understand the author focusing on Jessica's relationship, I feel like there needed to be two 2.5 short stories to give each couple their respective page time. I was highly disappointed that Vance and Rosie didn't get a short story to themselves that would be a semi flash forward and while that may seem petty to some, it kind of ruined the whole collection for me.

It was interesting to see where some of the couples are now after the books, Jess and Harper were so cute in the 2.5 story. Darien and Elle really portrayed a real relationship in 1.5 and 3.5, the heartbreak and love they show for each other was brilliant and beautiful. These were fun little filler stories, and they really were hilarious and stunning. So enjoyable and brilliant, well worth the read.

The third story made me realise some things about the significant friendship I’m in right now. I don’t know where our story is going, but the story made me realise I think we need to be “all or nothing”. I’m terrified. I hope the guy in my life realises & communicates soon because I’ve been doing so much crying this month.
