These are all plays from the early and mid 1980s. I think William Hoffman's "As Is" is the best play in the collection - it's held up remarkably well over the last 30+ years and is still a very good introduction to raw terror experienced by the initial HIV/AIDS generation.

I also was very impressed with Robert Chesney's "Jerker," set in San Francisco, also in the early stages of the epidemic.

Only a few of the plays deal with lesbian themes.
