After reading so many of her books (16 plus the five contained in this book) things do start to get very repetitive, but then again I like her style so it's not too major of an issue. I found the stories within this book very easy to get into, so it was good for relaxation. After reading these I still have to say that Fire and Desire, and Midnight Hour are her best for me so far because there was a little more to the stories than she normally gives. I would check those out if your interested in more of her books.
Brenda Jackson's Forged of Steele Bundle did not disappoint. The Steele Brothers along with Vanessa's story proved just how once you know who you love and desire they won't let anything or anyone get in their way. I would recommend these books to any hopeless romantic.
I really enjoyed reading this bundle about the Steele's but I think Vanessa and Cam were my favorite couple. The downside about reading a series all at once is the storylines become somewhat repetitive. Although there was some repetition in these books it wasn't overkill but more like a reminder. Brenda Jackson describes herself a true romantic and I believe her readers have to believe in true die hard love to enjoy her stories. I'll definitely continue reading more from this author.
Borrowed this from the library on my kindle. Solid Soul, Night Heat and Risky Pleasures were WONDERFUL! They all brought a different story lines that were very interesting. I did care for Beyond Tempatation and didn't finish it, it was the typical romance novel. I had to retun the book before i could read Never Too late, so i'm going to check it out again so I can give it a try. This by far has been one of my favorite bundles from Brenda Jackson!!!
It was great to read the love stories of the strong Steele clan. This anthology had ambitious, young, and successful African American men and women. I liked that no two sex scenes were the same, and they were described tastefully. Enjoyed all the stories. Brenda Jackson is a remarkable storyteller!
I enjoyed the stories. I loved the men and their determination to get their women. The only issue I had was the women. All of them were highly irritating. They all fought against good men, and made horrible assumptions and judgements. I'm glad they all got there hea, but it was difficult to put of with their childish attitudes
This is my 3rd book I read by Brenda Jackson. It really was a good book to read. It took me a week & a few days to finish it. The only thing that made me not like it too much was I dont really like books with different stories in it. I liked all the stories but I enjoyed some more than the others.
