Dee Dupree loves her new home in Elberton, Georgia, where she's just secured a job teaching history. Sharing an apartment with her best friend, Emmy, and starting a romance with Emmy's brother, it seems that everything is almost perfect in Dee's life. But Elberton has brought out weird feelings in Dee, and when she buys a pair of eyeglasses at an estate sale -- glasses that belonged to a girl who disappeared more than four decades ago -- the strange sensations blossom into nightmares. But they're more than just bad dreams . . . they're horrible visions that provoke Dee to investigate the missing girl's past. And now she is reluctantly drawn into a murder that took place more than twenty years before she was born.
I very much enjoyed this murder mystery. The story is good, and it was fun to see settings with which I am familiar. The paranormal aspect is interesting. Nice first novel, Martha!
I definitely enjoyed reading this book due to the murder mystery. The setting is a Georgia town that I am familiar with only due to the fact that I live in Georgia. If you are looking for a good murder mystery then this is the book you need to read. Great first novel, Martha! I look forward to another one soon!
