Four Daddies for Christmas

Rate this book
Four untamed ex-military daddies.
One very unassuming girl.
Who said Christmas miracles don’t exist?

My family’s failing farm combined with my father’s debt has me tossing and turning.
Luckily a chance rescue brings me face to face with an opportunity I can't resist.
I've been hired to take care of an adorable set of twins.

But I'm nervous for three VERY good reasons:
1. All four of my bosses are constantly working out in their mansion.
2. They’re older and more experienced in ALL facets of life.
3. It appears I've ignited a desire in them that can't just be brushed under the rug.

I must be imagining it, right? How can all four men want me?
Well one thing's for sure: I'm ready to see where this takes us.

But the weather calls for a scary winter storm on the horizon.
And this storm brings all sorts of trouble.
Not to mention unexpected surprises.

This was a good story to sit down with and enjoy a good laugh and also enjoy a bit of action as well. Aubrey has inherited her family ranch which has been in her family for generations. She and her best friend are trying to make it work for them with llamas and goats. While out trying to get a stubborn llama to come back to the barn, she meets a five year old boy who has stumbled into the ravine and bumped his head. This leads to her meeting his four uncles and his twi sister. Mac, Adam, Marcus and Tyler are all ex military who own a mercenary business which keeps them busy, but also their last mission brings danger to their door. Aubrey is now the kids nanny, but also has started a relationship with all four men. They heat is enough to melt snow and the action is enough to have you chewing your nails. It all works out in the end and they all have a happily ever after.

Four Daddies for Christmas (Forbidden Reverse Harems)

I absolutely love polyamory books. When the books are good I love them even better!
This had a perfect mix of that cowboy ranch man that gets everyone's blood running hot. Add to that the action adventure of brothers who save innocent people from criminals and people that would do them harm. They swoop in all over the world and rescue people like it was just another day.
I love Mac, Adam, Tyler, and Marcus and the love they have for their niece and nephew, Henry and Hattie. It is that love that draws Aubrey to all of them and a wonderful love story is created.
This is a total Must read!

In short: unnecessary drama, the best friend got the short end of the stick, too close to incest for my taste.

For my own sanity, we’re pretending the guys aren’t biological brothers.

This story had so much potential and so little follow through. Four single dads, Audrey coming back to her family farm, Henry the runaway, Seth the deadbeat, the crooked journalist.

So many directions it could’ve gone and yet we got like 14 pages describing the llamas and an undisclosed mission from years ago. Ugh.

This was at the same time way too long and not long enough to get to know any of the guys.

I live for smut but I skipped through most the of the one on one spice.

This is getting two stars instead of one because Henry and Hattie are angels.

This was a sweet and steamy holiday romance that put together four brothers that were guardians to a charming set of twins, and Aubrey, a llama famer with some financial difficulties. After she rescued one of the twins, and seeing how open little Henry was with her, they offered her the nanny job. This was the answer to her prayers of not having to sell the family property or the llamas. Her business partner and friend, Aggie, fully supported this move. The more time they spent together, the more their chemistry heated up ;) The end...lol! Of course, it wasn't that simple. Work problems followed Adam, Mac, Marcus and Tyler home. The action and danger really upped the stakes on this romance and I madly read, with bated breath, to see how things would unfold. A side romance for Aggie was seamlessly included and I love how family was such an important factor to the plot. Highly entertaining, and steamy ;P, this was a one-sit read for me :D

decent story but….

There were errors on POV switching within a chapter and then switching back. There also seemed to be a inconsistency in the plot that distracted me from the rest of the book

When one of Aubrey's llamas escapes from her farm and into the surrounding woods, she doesn't expect to rescue a lost little boy from the ravine nearby along the way. Seemingly comfortable with Aubrey, the two stumble upon two of the little boy's uncles while attempting to wrangle the wayward llama through the snow. Thankful that Henry was alright and stunned by the comfort he seemed to feel around the stranger, they head home to the rest of the family where they share the tale.

The four uncles have been searching for a nanny to take care of the twins, Hattie and Henry, during the day and while they are on missions for their security business, but they haven't been able to find any suitable person for the job -- until now. Approaching Aubrey with basically the job of a lifetime, she barely hesitates to take it when she realizes it'll solve nearly all of her problems. She promised her parents before they died that she would never let the family farm go and has given up everything, including a well-paying finance job in New York City, in order to keep it running even asking her best friend, Aggie, to invest in and help run the farm with her.

Life is going good for everyone. And the attraction between Aubrey and all the uncles flourishes into a blossoming romance. But after the uncles return home from a mission in Croatia, their enemy from the past comes back to bite them where it hurts -- on their home turf with specific targets on Aubrey and the twins.

***************

Written in five alternating first-person POVs, "Four Daddies for Christmas" follows Aubrey, Mac, Marcus, Adam, and Tyler as they explore a flourishing attraction turned romance while also dealing with the struggles of raising rambunctious twins on a farm and the repercussions of mercenary rescue missions.

This book was blah. The romance between the five characters was okay, but I didn't particularly feel like a romance was built between any of them at any point. There was barely any character or emotional development to any of the heroes or the heroine throughout the book and it just didn't give me any emotional pay-off for reading this. The twins, Hattie and Henry, had the most character development and background to them and they were only five. But they had something. Aggie was filler, almost a ploy for diversity and comedy as she's a lesbian all ready with jokes about the bedroom activities of Aubrey and the four uncles.

The main conflict of the book, the stand-off between the uncles and the bad guy from their past, took forever to come, probably about 70-80% of the way through the book, and it was basically over before it even began. It was decently paced, but there were barely any lasting repercussions to anyone. It was just...pointless pretty much. And the conflict with Seth, the biological father of the twins, and the crooked journalist, Janet, went nowhere. There was no point in including it since it went nowhere. I'm sure it was included to give the characters a bit more emotional growth and development, but it did nothing for me or the book.

And the little surprise added right at the end between Aubrey and the uncles was...whatever. It was fine and the romance seemed to be accepted way too easily for a mostly conservative town that ran off Mac, Marcus, Adam, and Tyler's previous romantic partner not that long ago.

This book was just fine. I'm sad I wasted so much time because I got nothing out of this. Some books have some sort of redeeming factor to them in their spicy scenes, but even the ones in this seemed like they were copied and pasted with only name differences. At least Hattie and Henry were cute and the antics of George and Lenny the llamas were kinda funny. But that's about it.

All in the Family Love

Aubrey Downing, a tall, slim uniquely beautiful woman with olive skin, dark, curly hair with copper highlights, full lips, almond-shaped, chocolate-colored eyes, and sharp cheekbones possesses family heritage and values. As her parents only child, she feels the responsibility and duty to protect and preserve her family’s generational heritage of Downing Farm, about 50 acres of farmland located in the panhandle of Maryland, the middle part of the Halbrook Trail.

A graduate of the University of Maryland with top honors and a degree in accounting she had worked for a big tech firm up in New York City until her father died and left her the farm. And, before her mom’s death, Aubrey made her mom a promise that she would hold onto the family’s generational inheritance. Now, with the help of her best friend and housemate, Aggie Culbertson, the friends raise llamas—George and Larry— gathering the llamas’ wool for sale. But despite the friends’ best efforts, money is short and the next mortgage payment is due soon.

In the midst of the friends’ daily chores around the farm, George, one of the llamas, makes a run for freedom. Aubrey takes off after the wayward llama, but is distracted from her task by cries for help, and following the cries, she discovers a little boy— Henry—who has fallen/slipped from the path into the ravine. Helping him back onto the path, she calms him and gives him a snack of homemade granola. But before she can help the boy to warmth and safety back at Downing Farm, she encounters a large, handsome man—Mac McDaniel, who rather than offering thanks for her help for his nephew, challenges her “help,” questioning whether her actions are helpful or rather a part of an attempt to kidnap the young boy. And, when Mac is joined by brother Adam, they invite her to their ranch, A Thousand Acres, to meet the rest of the family, twin brothers Tyler and Marcus, and nephew Henry’s twin sister, Hattie. And so, when Aubrey meets all of the loving family, she is drawn in ways she had not expected.

And, it soon becomes obvious to the brothers that Aubrey was a special woman—and a woman who was worth getting to know, and, most significantly, a woman whom they could trust to care for their niece and nephew while the former military men leave the country on a mission.

The 4 retired former military brothers, are now covert actors owning ExFil, a private military agency contracting missions around the world when their special skills of extraction or protection were needed. And so, they hire Aubrey to care for their most precious but vulnerable family—their deceased sister’s twin children, Henry and Hattie. But for Aubrey, the greatest challenge and reward of her life becomes the evolving relationship that has begun to evolve between Aubrey and the 4 amazing brothers McDaniel.

Crowne steps out boldly and with taste to explore polyamorous relationships, allowing the characters to follow their hearts unfettered by the fear of societal recriminations. She handles the challenging topic with grace, delivering an engaging plot that also addresses the back stories of the central characters. The romance offers all the best of Crowne with engaging characters who allow love to triumph against the adversities of life.

It seemed odd that Aubrey didn’t know who her neighbors were. I thought ranchers were known for helping each other out when needed so it would have been logical for them not to have been complete strangers. Didn’t she ever visit her ranch when her dad was alive?

I just can’t buy that even though a woman is attracted to four men she agrees to sleeping with all of them within moments of their proposition. The reasoning that they had to get the suggestion out in the open before leaving on a mission was lame. It certainly didn’t keep them from thinking about her while they were gone. Also, I don’t like the lying by omission of why the former object of their affection decided to break off their arrangement. This isn’t their first rodeo and apparently they only think of their needs and not the woman’s well-being.

There seems to be quite a bit of cowboy boots being worn. In my experience these boots have a smooth sole which makes them less than ideal for wearing in snow and ice. You’d spend more time on your ass then standing upright.

Llamas - page 26 - There were five in total, including George.
page 84 - Both kids stood on the lower rung of the wooden fence of the llama pen, nearly half the herd of llamas over in their direction. The twins...petting as many of them as they could. “Looks like our kids have made a dozen or so new friends.”
Where did the rest of the llamas come from? They all appear to be in the same pen and Aubrey had mentioned how they could stay outside while it was snowing when the other animals were in the barn.

Why were these four men the only ones who could rescue the missionaries? Seems to me that the person doing the hiring would be thrilled to get them back safely by any means.

I’m about to the point of putting this in my dnf pile but have to admit I’m curious as to what the twins’ father is up to. He apparently didn’t make a move while the men were gone for two weeks.

Why didn’t Tyler shoot Balaban instead of two of his men when he had the chance? Why didn’t Marcus somehow barricade the entrance to the barn where he and Aubrey were trapped? How did Tyler get in the loft without being seen?

Aubrey’s reaction to her pregnancy reminded me of Roz on Frasier - “The pill’s only effective 99% of the time. I can’t beat those odds.”

The men’s parents seemed awfully chill with the idea of their four sons fucking one woman. How did the four’s “marriage” to Aubrey work out when polygamy is illegal almost everywhere?

So many unanswered questions.

Epilogue extra: Why is Aubrey “Mom” to Henry and Hattie when the men were uncles? Did they all become dads? Try explaining that at the next PTA meeting.

What the Hearts Want

Sizzling hotness!!! Aubrey Downing inherited her family's fifty acre farm when her father passed and is overcome with preserving that heritage... the debts be damned. Raising llama's for their wool will help... that is it she can handle her stubborn llama, George. It is on a trek to find George when Aubrey hears the cry of help that will change life as she knows it...for the better in multiples.

Mac and Adam McDaniel are on the hunt for their young nephew Henry "Hen" after he snuck off on an adventure. They didn't expect to find him in the company of anyone much less the beauty that captured not only Henry's attention but theirs too. After their unlucky attempts to find a nanny for Hen and his twin sister Hattie, Aubrey fits their bill, they just have to get their twin brothers Tyler and Marcus on the same page before approaching Aubrey in the idea.

The attraction is almost immediate. How can Aubrey feel this attracted to four brothers?? The attraction to Aubrey from the brothers the same. All ex military, the brothers have a security agency taking them around the world on secret missions. Time is of the essence with a mission on the horizon and worries of Aubrey could be deadly. Giving their relationship a chance could scare her away...but what it she's willing to try??

What happens when a threat comes from across the world for revenge?? Loving four men could ruin her life and reputation but what would life be without them? Can Aubrey and the McDaniel men find happiness in their unusual situation or let society dictate their life?? A beautiful story with great main and secondary characters , his/her POV, Henry and Hattie are adorable. I have this complete series but this is the first book I've read so now in going to have to catch up. Great job K. C. Crowne!!!

Less than a year ago, the MacDaniel brothers lost their sister and gained custody of their twin niece and nephew. Now they need another person to help them keep an eye on the twins but have no luck finding a nanny. They have moved to a new farm. Then their little nephew wanders of in the woods and got lost. Luckily their neighbor Aubrey finds him. Aubrey has such a gentle touch with their nephew, she seems like she would be the perfect nanny. Besides having a beautiful woman in and out of their house is a big plus. They are wondering if they would be able to convince her to give all of them a try.

Aubrey has just moved back to her family's farm after the death of her father. She brought her best friend Aggie with her. To make the farm profitable, they are raising llamas to sell their wool. One llama escapes right before a big snowstorm and she has to go searching for it. She finds more than she expected in her search. She finds a young boy lost and hurt from a fall. She is taking him back to her house to warm up and call his family when she runs into two of his uncles. Just one look at them has her filled with desire. The next day she is shocked when they come by and offer her a job as a nanny. The brothers are former military and sometimes have to go out on rescue missions. They needed reliable child care. Since the job will provide her with a lot of money to help meet the farm's mortgage, Aubrey agrees. Her big problem is that she is very attracted to all of the brothers who are her new bosses.

Aubrey had inherited Downing Farm from her father less than a year ago so she had not met all the new neighbors, since her return when she found a boy on her property during the first snow storm of the season. While they were walking back to the house with her lost llama. She learned the little boy's name was Henry, and he lived with his uncles. They were almost back to the house, when two men asked where she was going with their boy. She thought both men were the most gorgeous men she had ever seen. Henry insisted on seeing the llama the rest of the way home. The uncles lived on the Thousand Acre Ranch next door to Aubrey, and the two that had met her were very attracted to her plus impressed with her ability in handling Henry. They had been looking for a nanny to look after their nephew and niece as they thought a female might be nice with four grown men in the house. After meeting her, the oldest brother, Mac thought they should ask Aubrey if she would like the job. These four men had strong military backgrounds with distinct personalities, and knew exactly what they wanted. Life was not all fun and games for the brothers. They had problems from the past with the kids' father and a mercenary that wanted them dead. A fabulous romantic suspense that will keep you on the edge of your chair waiting to see what happens next.

Mac, Adam, Tyler, & Marcus are guardians and have custody of their niece and nephew who happened to be twins. They live in a farm and while out doing chores, before a blizzard hit, Henry, on of the twins wandered off.
Aubrey was out trying to capture a llama that had escape and she heard a whimper. When she investigated she found a little boy off the trail. She started talking to him and he started to warm up to her she found out it Henry lived at the farm down the road from her. She figured she would take him back to her house, wash him up and get him something to eat before taking him home. As they were walking back to her home they were stopped by two very handsome men. They were two of Henry’s uncles. Henry refused to go home until he help put the llama back into his pen. After they went home Aubrey couldn’t thinking about the uncles.
When the uncles asked her to be the nanny to the twins she wasn’t sure, but after a little while she agreed as long as her farm doesn’t suffer. After several weeks the sexually tension was palpable between her and all four uncles and Aubrey. What happens when they allow themselves to act on the sexual tension. Will Aubrey run when she finds out all four want her? Do she have to pick one of them?
I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be reading more books by K. C. This was my first book by this author.

The Gifts For Her Kind Heart -
Aubrey was happy working with her best friend to try and revive her family farm, but fate had other ideas and brought four gorgeous hunks, with two adorable kids into her life to shake it up. Even though the chemistry between them was palpable, Aubrey couldn’t believe her fantasies would come true, that is until Tyler, Adam, Marcus and Mac put forward a proposal that not only blew her mind, but also made her feel like all her Christmases had come around at the same time.

However, just as they settle into their relationship, the dark side of their jobs encroaches into their daily life and they become embroiled in an action-filled and dangerous encounter that nearly cost them their lives. This encounter actually helped them make the decision to change their lives, as they received life changing news. The one to one intimate scenes were just as heated as the group scene and were explosive enough to keep me squirming in my seat.

I just couldn’t stop reading once I started and by the time I finished reading the book, I knew it deserved a high recommendation. This is a must read book that you will be happy to indulge yourself in.

A single woman struggling with her best friend finds a boy while out trying to catch her wayward llama. While Aubrey is chasing down her wayward llama she hears what sounds like a child crying she stops and stands still since the wind is blowing hard then she hears it again.Since this is her land she knows which way to check. She sees a little boy down at the bottom of a rough path. She calls out he says help. When she says she's coming to see if he's ok an that her name is Aubrey. Finally he says his name is Henry. She checks him out. Then tells him they can go to her home and get cleaned up eat something and get him home. What happens when his uncles see her leading him away? What happens when she meets all four of the brothers?there are so many twists an turns you will be riveted until the very last page.I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.

Again, Ms. Crowne has hit a home run! Aubrey has taken over the families struggling ranch when her dad dies. Money is tight, so when she has the opportunity to be nanny to the twins next door Henry and Hattie she couldn't pass it up. Her employers are four brothers, who just happen to be Henry and Hattie’s guardians, they are their very gorgeous uncles; Mac, Adam, Marcus and Tyler, all four are super sexy hot former military men…turns out all four guys and Aubrey have an immediate attraction. The book has a perfect blend of drama, suspense, action, humor, emotion and lots of steamy love between characters. Such a good story how love can conquer. I am looking forward to the next story. Ms. Crowne is a favorite. I highly recommend, if this is your genre you will not be disappointed. I received an Advance Reader's Copy and am voluntarily leaving my honest thoughts and opinions.

This book was a really good read. I m a fan of reverse harem and sexy military men and this book had it all. Four brothers, two of them identical twins caring for their niece and nephew how happen to be twins too. Set in the snow mountains in Maryland, Aubrey inherits her family farm that has been passed down generation after generation. Her neighbors are the owners of the farm next door and low and behold they need a nanny to help raise their kiddos. They own a company named Exfil they provides services for those in need of extraction both from the government and personal missions. The attraction between them all is undeniable and this book has plenty of sexy moments. KC Crowne does it again.

Aubrey and Aggie are the owners of Downing Ranch and are raising llamas and such. When she finds a lost little boy, Henry, while searching for her lost llama. She takes him home to find his uncles. This is where she meets her new neighbors. The guys are brothers, raising their niece and nephew on Thousand Acers Ranch and they run a security firm. They develop a great relationship that they turn into a happy family. When danger strikes, they work together too keep everyone safe.

Little did Aubrey realise George the Llama was about to introduce Aubrey to her destiny.

Worth more than 5 stars. When you have a book that has 4 hot guys, reverse harem, a strong independent heroine & is written by one of my favourite authors I know I'm in for an awesome reading experience that won't allow me to put the book down until I have finished. From their very first meeting Mac, Adam, Tyler & Marcus felt an immediate connection with Aubrey. Will there be a HEA for them all or will the past come back to tear them apart?
I can't recommend this book highly enough. If you love KC Crowne then give this book a read.

Aubrey has moved back to her hometown to take over her family's struggling ranch. She gets the chance to earn some extra money by taking care of some super cute twins. Her bosses are 4 brothers, super hot former military men, and she's attracted to them all. Turns out all four men want her as well.

This was my first read from K.C. Crowne and I really liked it! I thought the story was perfectly balanced with steam, suspense, and humor. I liked all the characters, the adorable twins were show stealers for sure, as well as the funny animals. I am definitely looking forward to reading more by this author.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. I really enjoyed this story. It is a rh with all the heat but also a his storyline. Aubrey comes across Henry who is one of the youngest of her neighbors. She then meets his uncles and there is attraction and chemistry. They end up offering her an opportunity when she could use the money. She develops a relationship with both children and begins to develop and explore a relationship with Mac, Adam, Marcus and Tyler. She sees something in each of them that she needs, while they fall hard for her also. There is some drama and conflict but overall the story is about the sweet and steamy times with the men and the family they become. Good story

This is not a story with age play, just four brothers who have taken on the roll of dads for their twin niece and nephew. Aubrey moved to her family farm to take over after her father passed away. She's swimming in debt but with the help of her best friend she's determined to make it work. She meets her neighbors, Mac, Adam, Tyler and Marcus when she rescues their nephew who wandered onto her land. The brothers are all ex military. They strike up a deal for her to be their niece and nephews nanny. What none of them expected was for feelings to develop. Steamy reverse harem, low on the drama and angst, with some suspense added to the mix. All around fun and entertaining read.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Aubrey Downing, Adam, Marcus, Tyler & Mac MacDaniel. On Thanksgiving Aubrey is rounding up a stray llama when she hears a noise. It is Henry the little boy who lives with is uncles in the house next door to her. After meeting 2 of the brothers she wouldn't mind meeting them all. The guys need a nanny for Henry and his twin sister Hattie. After the guys got custody of the kids when their sister died they have been trying to make it work ever since. Can they all have a HEA or will a blast from the guys past make that impossible?

Another amazing story by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
