The first is One Night Only and I HIGHLY recommend reading it since it’s not only hot AF but it’s the beginning of desires being filled in the city of sin. You will also meet characters for future naughty nights.

But, this story isn’t just about sex. It’s about exploring your desires and yourself in the process. It’s about trust, love, competition, and discovery. I loved every moment of this book.
Overall...it’s a book full of seduction, desire, love, and discovery. I was seriously hot and bothered throughout the whole thing. Through their words and touch. It was beautiful, sweet, swoony, and it also made me laugh. I am in love with all these characters and I can’t wait for the rest of the series.

One Night Only
HOT! HOT! HOT! Ivy, Callum, and Stone will melt your Kindles! Being attracted to your bodyguard isn't a great idea. Unless it seems your bodyguard is also attracted to you. Both are so focused on their jobs, and don't want to risk their working relationship by giving in to their desires. But maybe they could do it once, and then go back to bodyguard and client. One night to get all this want out of their systems should do it. Yeah, right! Not quite how Lauren writes these beautiful love stories.
These two were adorable, and their pull to each other was magnetic. Ivy and Callum are a beautiful, kinky, sassy, dominant powder keg waiting to combust. And what a beautiful sight to behold.
Joe Arden, Emma Wilder, and Jacob Morgan do an amazing job narrating this hot as sin tale. Joe is his usual perfect self. He is wickedly filthy and dominant, and I savored him. Emma has become such a great power amongst female narrators. She totally owns Lily and knows it. Jacob is...Jacob. He makes whatever role he's given uniquely his. His rock star personna Stone is so sexy, and his interactions with Callum and Lily are quite scorching. I fell in love with Stone almost immediately.
Lauren has a great ear for matching narrators with roles, and this trio was sensational!

When Sage meets Cole and Daniel, who own the newest hotel across the street from hers, there's an almost immediate attraction. The problem is, Sage is attracted to both men. Is this really a problem?
There are a few stories going on here. There's the naughty dalliances between Cole, Sage, and Daniel. And they are so, so, so HOT!! Also, Cole and Sage are growing closer together. With their past issues, they're forced to confront things they aren't quite ready to. And sweet, filthy Daniel seems to have something going on himself.
This was such a great adventure. Sage, coming into her own sexuality, and owning it. Cole and Daniel offering and delivering so many experiences to Sage. Cole and Sage not looking for, but finding a love they both want and deserve. There's so much I can and want to say in this review, but I don't want to give away anything. Trust me, you'll love it. Lauren doesn't skimp on the delicious dirtiness, and also the swoony moments, and there are quite a few.
Sage's best friend Eliza is having her own love quandry that involves a quarterback.
I listened to the audio version of this, so I got the beautifully wicked Joe, Shane, and Emma telling me this amazing tale. Wesleigh Siobhan is a new-to-me narrator, and she did a wonderful job narrating a little surprise.

Because of his strong need for control, I knew Daniel had issues, perhaps from a previous relationship or childhood trauma. When the specifics are revealed, his tortured soul broke my heart into a million pieces. His best friend and business partner, Cole knows about his past, and since Daniel played a hand in the introduction of the love of his life, he wants to see Daniel happy, as well.
Scarlett, who recently joined Daniel and Cole's hotel development firm as a partner, is my badass muse. She's lady billionaire #goals all over the place, and her smarts, drive, and single-minded focus has brought this trio much success. Having been married before, Scarlett puts all her energy into her job. She doesn't want or need romance in her life.
When the prospect of a hotel on the market gets the attention of Daniel and Scarlett while on a business trip, they can't help wanting to check it out for themselves. Being well-known hoteliers, they decide to pretend to be married, so as to keep their evaluation under wraps. Being the great friends they are, the ruse isn't a difficult one. But when an unexpected event occurs, they're forced to see each other in a different light, and suddenly the attraction between them is revealed. Fight it as hard as they could, eventually their hotness gets the best of them, and they embark on a week-long exploration of each other. This "friends w/benefits" period will end when their time spent checking out the hotel ends. Then, they go back to being the great friends and colleagues they've been. Yeah, right.
This was so beautiful as Daniel and Scarlett discovered one another in a new light, and how their past experiences are affected by their physical closeness. The chemistry is so strong, and as they talk about their relationships and past hurts, it seems to bring them that much closer. Knowing their time is coming to an end, the strong feelings force them to really look at themselves, and decide what's really important. Daniel and Scarlett have both been through life-changing events that changes their way of thinking about relationships. But with their strong foundation of friendship, they're able to work through things. This story was hot, breathtaking, heartbreaking, heartmending, hot, more hot, a lot hot.
Shane East and Vanessa Edwin--Shanessa--did a fantastic job narrating, as usual. Erin Mallon, Joe Arden, and new to LB books, Siiri Scott, and James Joseph make a great supporting cast for this wonderful love story.

Lauren Blakely is a genius at writing sex-positive, self empowered characters - men and women! The After Dark series is all about those delicious fantasies that tend to lurk in the background. Lauren delivers them (quite brilliantly) to the light in a way that is fun, sexy, empowering, and all about finding your awesome self and owning your pleasure! What do you want? Go for it! All consenting adults experiencing what makes them happy. Lauren's books deliver me to my happy place very time!
My favorite narrators deliver excellent performances. I started this listen at bedtime and ended up playing 1 more chapter until it was over. I COULDN'T STOP! I finished and then immediately hit play again to drift off to sleep listening to some of my favorite voices telling an empowering sex-positive story with a FANTASTIC surprise guest leading us to a future story that I can't wait to get my ears on!

Finding balance between the powerful businesswoman and the sexy empowered woman who delights in dressing up and losing herself in the moment is a balancing act she is definitely up to mastering! Cole & Daniel are sex personified and seriously irresistible when they target Sage at the masquerade! When they come together it is EXPLOSIVE! This is a powerful example of OWNING your pleasure! Very sex positive with sizzling hot scenes, excellent dialogue, and characters who stay with you long after you finish!!
This book is part of the Extravagant Series, based in Vegas, and I can't wait to see what else Lauren comes up with for these spectacular characters! So many wonderful characters I want to explore along with the exquisite narrators Lauren selects for each book!
My one Week Husband
My One Week Husband is - hands down - one of my favorite Lauren Blakely books so far (which is saying a lot considering her extensive & wonderful catalogue of awesomeness)! I knew within a few chapters this would be a repeat listen and one of the Best of 2021! Every word is precisely positioned and beautifully performed in DUET by this full cast of brilliant narrators! Lauren’s words flow like water to immerse you in the story and I was swept away with all the feels for Daniel and Scarlett as they traveled through France pretending to be honeymooners. Together they experience exquisite music, art, travel, and intense passion with undeniable effect. As business partners they have known and respected each other for 3 years, but this week of traveling as newlyweds has them discovering a much deeper connection & embracing how amazingly well their personalities and appetites fit together. Daniel and Scarlett are both deeply complex & beautifully brilliant characters who are perfectly matched to bring out the best in each other. Get lost in the moments that will take your breath away!
I am an unabashed fangirl of Lauren’s world of sex-positive awesomeness & devour each story with joy! I’ve been waiting for Daniel and Scarlett’s story since their introduction in One Exquisite Touch. My One Week Husband is a stand-alone story which can be read on it’s own (though I definitely recommend One Exquisite Touch). Quotes like “I am flammable around Daniel Stewart” absolutely slayed me. In addition to the adventure, culture, and romance there are some next-level sexy times you definitely don’t want to miss! Scarlett truly is a sex-positive badass woman unleashed who matches Daniel and brings out his deliciously naughty expertise. They are both healing from past experiences and having truly meaningful conversations about their thoughts and feelings is beautiful! To witness them finding bliss and self worth together made this story so heartwarming, and cemented My One Week Husband as one of my top listens of 2021 (even though it is only February).
Lauren is the queen of championing duet multicast narration with a focus on high quality. Shane East and Vanessa Edwin work beautifully together to bring these characters to life with passionate performances! Erin Mallon, Joe Arden, Victoria Mei, and new-to-me James Joseph and Siiri Scott bring extra depth to ancillary characters. I just loved all of it! Duet done right is my jam, and this one is masterfully done and ticked every box I have!

Sage is a powerful, successful CEO who is also a woman discovering what she needs and wants. Finding balance between the powerful businesswoman and the sexy empowered woman who delights in dressing up and losing herself in the moment is a balancing act she is definitely up to mastering! Cole & Daniel are sex personified and seriously irresistible when they target Sage at the masquerade! When they come together it is EXPLOSIVE! This is a powerful example of OWNING your pleasure! Very sex positive with sizzling hot scenes, excellent dialogue, and characters who stay with you long after you finish!!
This book is part of the Extravagant Series, based in Vegas, and I can't wait to see what else Lauren comes up with for these spectacular characters! So many wonderful characters I want to explore along with the exquisite narrators Lauren selects for each book!
My one Week Husband
My One Week Husband is - hands down - one of my favorite Lauren Blakely books so far (which is saying a lot considering her extensive & wonderful catalogue of awesomeness)! I knew within a few chapters this would be a repeat listen and one of the Best of 2021! Every word is precisely positioned and beautifully performed in DUET by this full cast of brilliant narrators! Lauren’s words flow like water to immerse you in the story and I was swept away with all the feels for Daniel and Scarlett as they traveled through France pretending to be honeymooners. Together they experience exquisite music, art, travel, and intense passion with undeniable effect. As business partners they have known and respected each other for 3 years, but this week of traveling as newlyweds has them discovering a much deeper connection & embracing how amazingly well their personalities and appetites fit together. Daniel and Scarlett are both deeply complex & beautifully brilliant characters who are perfectly matched to bring out the best in each other. Get lost in the moments that will take your breath away!
I am an unabashed fangirl of Lauren’s world of sex-positive awesomeness & devour each story with joy! I’ve been waiting for Daniel and Scarlett’s story since their introduction in One Exquisite Touch. My One Week Husband is a stand-alone story which can be read on it’s own (though I definitely recommend One Exquisite Touch). Quotes like “I am flammable around Daniel Stewart” absolutely slayed me. In addition to the adventure, culture, and romance there are some next-level sexy times you definitely don’t want to miss! Scarlett truly is a sex-positive badass woman unleashed who matches Daniel and brings out his deliciously naughty expertise. They are both healing from past experiences and having truly meaningful conversations about their thoughts and feelings is beautiful! To witness them finding bliss and self worth together made this story so heartwarming, and cemented My One Week Husband as one of my top listens of 2021 (even though it is only February).
Lauren is the queen of championing duet multicast narration with a focus on high quality. Shane East and Vanessa Edwin work beautifully together to bring these characters to life with passionate performances! Erin Mallon, Joe Arden, Victoria Mei, and new-to-me James Joseph and Siiri Scott bring extra depth to ancillary characters. I just loved all of it! Duet done right is my jam, and this one is masterfully done and ticked every box I have!

One Night Only is another sexy addition to the Lauren Blakely After Dark books. Lauren's books always bring the sexy and fun, and these book are no different. They just give us more of the sexy. Ivy is a CEO who's trying to revamp her hotel and make it the next big thing. Callum is her bodyguard. He's supposed to be off limits, but she can't help the way she's fallen for him in the last year. Callum's job is to protect Ivy. Watch over her and never let anything happen to her. He can't do that if he's physically involved with her, so he doesn't let her get that close. Until one night when he sees desire in her eyes. Desire for something he knows he can give her. But he has to touch her first. Experience just him and Ivy. Then he needs to walk away and do his job. Ivy can't stop thinking about the one night she shared with Callum. She wants more, but she knows it probably won't happen. Callum finally realizes he can't stay away from her and he wants to give her the fantasy she's dying for. Him, her and his best friend, Stone. He's a sexy rockstar who would love nothing more than to help out his best friend. Just one night. The three of them together to give Ivy what she craves. This story is so hot! But it's more than just steamy and sexy. Ivy's job is demanding and she has to learn that she can have both the high powered job and be submissive to her man. Callum has to realize her can still keep the woman he wants safe, while he gives in to his feelings. One night of forbidden passion just fuels the connection between Ivy and Callum. Overall I loved it! It's a short, fast read full of heat and heart. I can't wait for Stone's story!

Extravagant Collection
LOVED these books, hot sexy love stories that intertwine and introduce several other characters that have other stories. I loved all the interaction and specifically the love stories. The sex is HOT, very HOT. I highly recommend this collection and will be reading many other books with the characters introduced in this collection. It’s a MUST read!

KU. Dnf. Enjoyed the first book about the woman that falls for her security guard. Other two didn’t grab me from the start and I couldn’t get into either one.
