The weather in Casper Creek has yet to turn and Hannah Hickok is determined to take advantage of her downtime to engage in a bit of romance with her fianc Cooper Wyatt. Unfortunately for her, the world has other plans. An eerie howl draws Hannah and Cooper to Main Street during a snowstorm, and what they find confuses them. There's some sort of monster stalking the downtown area, and a woman has appeared out of nowhere in the creature's wake only to collapse in front of them. Before Hannah can call for help, the woman disappears, leaving a mystery and a monster hunt on the menu. Casper Creek's history is long and storied. This time, however, the trouble can be traced back to Hannah's own family. It seems the woman who disappeared has ties to her grandmother...and Abigail doesn't want to share the details with anybody, including her own family. Frustrated, Hannah keeps digging, but what she finds is a mystery for the ages. It seems the stories she always heard, the ones about her late grandfather being a saint, might've been more fiction than reality. The truth of his past is about to collide with Hannah's future. And nobody will ever be the same again.
Hannah's problems at Casper Creek usually come.down to Demons infiltrating this .world or evil witches bent on amassing power through the nexus (which would mean disaster.for Hannah) to name but two. This enemy though is not too evil and easily dealt with. What makes the story stand out is the connection to Hannah's grandmother and grandfather and their life together as there is something that happened in the past which is about to affect Hannah and Coolers future in a way they could never foresee...............................................................
Sometimes I just want to shake Hannah, violently. She makes everything about her and is such a whiner! How can someone her age, with magic and responsibility act so stupidly sometimes! Shes infuriating and to have such loyal people behind her, I just don't understand. Would someone explain this to me?
Casper Creek, a magical cos play western town full of wonderful characters and Jinx the most wonderful dog ever. Hanna has a lot going on in their off-season, newly engaged she is busy with construction and renovations at Casper Creek and the a screaming woman changes their lives forever. I’m loved all the twists and turns in this one and yay Astra is finally making her move the next book is going to be amazing.
This is an extraordinarily entertaining paranormal cozy mystery series. I find cast of characters in an entertaining storyline. Hannah Hickok is a witch who lives on the top of a mountain in Kentucky. She owns a cosplay town that set a top that mountain. It’s accessed by guest via a ski lift And there is a winding Mountain Road up the backside that they use to get in and out. The town also happens to built on a magical nexus. It draws paranormal to it every so often. Hannah and her fiancé who works for her in the town and her friends if you have them who are part of her coven. Protect the town in the area from evil paranormal beings and creatures. Once again there is a threat to the town and the people. Read on and see what the surprise is in store for Hannah and her family and friends. There is a really unique twist in this one that may surprise you. Read on and find out.
I really like these books. I feel that the characters are unnecessarily cruel in their dealings with Astra though. They seek her out for help then rub it in her face constantly that they are in love and she lost Cooper. I feel Hannah is nicer than this. I like where the characters are going but the way they continually go on and on about their love for each other is a bit much. There is less gush in a romance novel. I love the addition of the grandfather. Cool twist. Can't wait to the town develop and inevitable showdown with Astra.
This series is among my favorites. I love the characters, the sarcasm and snark as well. I find myself laughing out loud quite a bit while also trying to solve the mystery. In this book I was shocked about who was involved in the events that too place or rather who initiated the events that Hannah and Cooper had to deal with. This story had some sadness and unexpected joy as well. Excellent read as expected.
Join Hannah and the whole gang in a mystery of the past
Join Hannah and the gang of family and friends in a new and exciting mystery of the past. This mystery puts a twist on family affairs in Hannah’s world, when a girl they save suddenly disappears on them, so join the witchy fun with as the people at Casper Creek share another wondrous adventure with us all. I recommend this book to any fan of paranormal cozy mysteries.
Hannah and Cooper have an encounter with a screaming woman and a being that can only be described a Sasquatch relative. When both disappear long with Cooper’s memory, the happy life Hannah envisioned looks like it will disappear. Digging deep into Casper Creek history, a secret of Abigail’s is revealed. Can they all recover before it is too late?
This book had promise, but there was a jump in the story, like the author changed her mind in the midst of writing. It wasn’t until the next page where I knew what was supposed to have happened with the truck. It was a bit confusing. There was another jump later on, too, where there weren’t enough details to support the character’s’ conclusion. It feels like some more careful editing could have been done.
I didn't want this book to end. Hannah's family keeps growing and in the strangest ways. Everyone suffered one way or another, but things work out, sorta kinda. Lots going on both at home at Casper Creek, but the powerful magical world that's all around them. They will be thinking and brainstorming ways to secure both real and mystical realms that surround them.
Spoilers-I usually really like this series but this one was too much of a soap opera plot line. Bigfoot, amnesia, witches, falling off cliffs, sudden inheritance, long lost relatives coming back. Nope. And the end...double nope. And dear author what is the sudden rule that every series has to have plane doors involved? Yes I read them all. No five stars.
When will this girl bond the magic to her? The more she delay the more issues she got and don't get me started on why she haven't look up how to strip magic or bind a person magic if she's having issues with killing a evil witch. I do want to read more about her relationship with her brother doe and see a family reunion.
Book 12 was great. The team is trying to figure out why someone who disappeared 30 years has resurfaced and hasn't aged a day. I don't want to give too much away, but Hannah's grandfather and niece emerge from a portal, and the grandfather is here to stay. I'm looking forward to Book 13 coming out on June 6.

This was another winner. I highly recommend all her books and different series. If you love paranormal mysteries this series is for you. She has great imagination and great characters in every book. Diana Romano
I was so excited to see this available today. Hannah and Cooper are so fun. They are one of my favorite couples. Although truthfully I love all of Lily's couples. I'm looking forward to getting to know Henry.
I really look forward to new books in this series. The characters continue to grow and become more comfortable together. The plot and subplots move quickly and the twists in this book make me look forward to the next book!
This book was very interesting. We get to learn more about Hannah and her family. I am really interested in seeing how it all works out. Thank you for a wonderful book. You are an awesome writer.
This new book in this series adds quite a surprise and starts setting up for a conclusion to the series. An important new character is added and an existing character becomes even more important. Perfect amount of snark keeps you smiling.
Wow! There are so many out there moments in this book but they all came together to make an amazing story. Several things stood out that will have an impact on the stories going forward and they'll definitely make it more interesting.
Wow this book was hard to put down. So much action and adventure with a few twists and turns. I absolutely love this storyline and can’t wait to see what happens next.
Lily Harper Hart has done it yet again. This series is full of highs and lows in the world of Hannah Hicock. I highly recommend this series. The characters are terrifically well written.
I totally didn’t see all the pieces of this ending, but they definitely make sense. And for the record, I’d be really happy if the author winds up killing off Astra. What a horrible person.
A good book in the series setting up a cliffhanger with plenty of magic, mystery, drama, humor, horror, action, adventure, violence, and romance. Eager for next book.
Don't actually dislike it, but it would be nice to have a series where the couple does not want kids. There may be one I have missed, but I have read most of her stories and can't think of one.
Generally like all of the characters and enjoy where the stories take me
This is a really good story! The characters are interesting, and the plot doesn't lag. Ms. Hart is a wonderfully gifted author. You won't be sorry to buy this book.
