Great collection of essays by a political theorist dedicated to the ideas of direct democracy. Loved the last essay the most, “Revolution as Reality: The Future of Democracy.” Just as relevant today as when he wrote it in 1971.

An interesting little collection of essays I picked up on a whim. Some thought-provoking ideas and arguments but it could have been better fleshed out. However, it was only short so I don't see how that could be done!

A surprisingly good read. What it lacks in detailed justification (hey, it's 125 pages), it more than makes up in enthusiasm and question-raising. I'll be going back to this book over and over again in my work and my thinking.
