Olive was just trying to make enough money to survive. All of that changed when her world literally exploded, and in walked Cue Ball. The rough-around-the-edges biker and a member of the Iron Fiends MC was there to keep her safe. What she didn't expect was for Cue Ball to show her that just surviving wasn't enough. He could give her so much more if she just let go.
Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling author Winter Travers is a devoted wife, mother, and aunt turned author who was born and raised in Wisconsin. After a brief stint in South Carolina following her heart to chase the man who is now her hubby, they retreated back up North to the changing seasons, and to the place they now call home. Winter spends her days writing happily ever afters, and her nights being a karate mom hauling her son to practices and tournaments. She also has an addiction to anything MC related, puppies, and baking.
This is the second installment in the Iron Fiends MC and it picks right up where the previous book left off with a bomb going off at the club’s gym. Olive took the brunt of the blast and Cue Ball was ordered to watch after her making sure she and her son were safe.
I loved the sweet chemistry that happened between not only Cue Ball and Olive but with Cue Ball and Olive’s son, Rocky, as well. The club still doesn’t know what or who caused that explosion and with the camera crew coming to the clubhouse soon to make a reality show of the Iron Fiends MC they would like to figure that out before its too late.
I really look forward as to what is coming next in this series because I can feel that there is so much more yet to come.
My Savior was the second book in the Iron Fiends MC series by Winter Travers. Although enjoyable in order, the books to date can be read in any order.
Olive was a single mom and had just been hired to work at a gym that was owned by the local MC, the Iron Fiends. Cue Ball was a patched member of the MC. Olive was caught in the cross fire of an MC conflict which mandated her being protected by the MC. Sparks flew immediately and the rest of the story focused on the relationship building while Olive was raising her ten year old son, Rocky. Travers also included some mystery around the MC conflict, which will continue throughout the series. All in all, it was a quick, light hearted and fun read.
My Savior is a story that will easily steal your heart. Cue and Olive meet when he must keep both her and her son safe. This single mum romance is filled with heartbreaking moments as Olive must learn that she can finally lean on someone and trust that he won't leave. The connection between not only Olive and Cue, but with her son Rocky also warms your heart. Their story is also angsty, filled with chemistry and with an old friend dropping in (you will have to read to find out who) the laughs are uncontrollable. A storyline that has chemistry, drama, grit, love and romance to have you just a little disappointed when their story comes to an end.
Ms. Travers always gives us a great read with humor, action, thrills and romance and My. Savior fits the bill to a tee. You just gotta love the Iron Fiends MC Brothers. They are loyal, fierce, sexy and Always take care of their own. Olive works at the gym owned by the Iron Fiends MC. But when someone blows up the gym and she ends up in the hospital, Cue Ball is sent to protect her until the club figures out who planted the bomb. What Cue Ball doesn’t count on is a precocious 10 year old boy (Rocky) who thinks he hung the moon or a feisty woman who fights him at every turn when he’s just trying to protect her. But when things start to take a turn and the bickering stops, well all I’ll say is hang on to your helmet because you're gonna fall in love with Olive, Cue Ball and Rocky - just like I did.
The banter between these three is hilarious. And if you know anything about MS. Traver’s King’s of Vengeance MC series, you’re in for a treat because Wrecker, Alice and the cows make an appearance. Lordy, that woman is still a trip. You’ll be laughing, swooning and smiling throughout.
While My Savior can be read as a standalone, I suggest reading My Biker (Book 1) first as the characters and the storylines do overlap. Grab them up ASAP, you won’t be sorry.
We loved Olive and Cueball's tale it was filled with fun and laughter and a ton of witty banter. Olive is a single mom so this story surrounds the three of them Rocky her son Cue and Olive Rocky. Rocky was one of those characters that just melted your heart he was such a momma's boy who was fiercely protective of her. We loved how he bonded with Cue so easily and fit nicely as that father figure that boy must be missing.
The story starts with a bang and the mystery that remains around the club of who what and why but, as they wait for answers Cue falls for his protective charge. Olive is witty feisty and fiercely independent we fell in love with this sweet woman's character she was funny and made us laugh time and time again. Cueball may have protested his assignment at first but, now he is having second thoughts where he quickly became a fierce protector of this little family we suspect this was so out of the norm and out of Cueball's wheelhouse to become attached it made it even more rewarding to see this man for in love with both Rocky and Olive.
The story has its ups and downs but, Wrecker and his old lady graced the pages to give us more than a few laughs as we cannot help but, love Alice that woman is comical. For a short read, it was packed with amazing characters and tons of laughs filled with a ton of chemistry beautiful friendships and so much more.
My Savior - Winter Travers by Winter Travers pub 8/27/23 short 5 stars Olive & Cue Ball + Rocky
He would never have protested having to guard a club employee if he had met her first. Oh, not that she was easy to get along with, she was gorgeous with a son you couldn't help but get attached to. What man sticks with a woman who has a kid? Apparently Cue.
Instead of the kid making a relationship harder, Rocky added so much. He needed a man in his life and Cue fit right in. Was there a chance for them? She'd been deserted before. Could she trust and take another chance? Read to find out.
This is the beginning of what looks like another winning series by the author. I can't wait for more. Thank you for the gifted book. I got it and immediately read it from start to finish.
The first book needs to be read before this as this continues from book one. This is the aftermath of the gym being blown up, Olive is in the hospital and a little shocked when Cue Ball comes in to stay with her. Thinking that it's just the club feeling charitable since she was an employee, she gets an even bigger shock when Cue Ball takes her home and ends up staying. Olive isn't used to relying on anyone but herself and her mom, so it's hard to let go and trust Cue. Will Cue be able to prove that he is woth trusting? Or will he prove to be just another man that let her down?
I am loving this series! Fast paced but gives us everything we need in a great MC story that will suck a reader in and have them hanging on till the last word. Drama, tad bit of danger, a few awe moments, and some nice naughty bits. I give this 5 stars.
This story is sweet and savory and involves a single parent which is one of my favorite tropes! Cue & Olive just make me smile! They also made me emotional a time or two. I definitely would love a kid like Rocky because he is the absolute best. The way he and Cue gravitated toward each other and formed such a special bond made me fall even harder for Cue! Plus, when Alice makes an appearance and has anything to say or wear that has to do with cows, I know I’m going to laugh out loud. The reason behind the names in this book are awesome. I wish the book was longer because it felt shorter than normal to me but I think maybe I was just enjoying it too much! All I know is Cue could save me any day!
Loved this lighthearted story. Starts out with Olive and Cue being forced together due to the MC family and its business, and he is forced to stay with her to keep her safe which he initially does not like and will try and get out of. Throw in Rocky's dad and the entire picture changes, and Cue will step up and Olive will put on a show for him. Things progress very quickly for these three and they become a family unit which will not be broken and each steps up to do what is necessary to meet the others needs. Love the way "old timers" are brought into the storyline (Wrecker and Alice) with their wackiness, they are always good for a few good laughs. There is also enough action to keep our interest and keep us wondering how things will turn out.
Picking up right where My Biker left off, we get to see what happened when Olive set off the gym explosion. Yarder assigns Cue to keep her safe, which he's not too keen on, until he meets her! 😉
I love the sassy attitude Olive throws his way, & the way Cue stands his ground. I also adore Rocky! He takes to Cue right away, and Cue to him. It's cool to see their friendship develop.
The romance is insta-love goodness with the signature humor & heart in all this author's work. Friendships, brotherhood, and a delicious visit with our Alice!! She brightens any scene she's in!
As always, the peek into the next book has me curious as to what's gonna happen next!
This is the second book in this incredible series, and this is Cue Ball and Olive’s journey. Olive is a single mom to a 10-year-old son, and she is doing the best to survive and make ends meet. When Olive world implodes when she is hired to clean the club’s gym, she is caught in the crossfire, and she is hurt. Cue Ball is sent to the hospital to protect and keep Olive and her son safe. The sparks fly between Oliva and Cue Ball, and the chemistry between them is undeniable. This is a well written story which is easy to read, action packed, and a quick read, with conflict, survival, mystery, romance, emotions, and love, which leads to an entertaining, unpredictable, fun, and steamy page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
Winter Travers has written a great addition to the Iron Fiends MC series. This book is Cue Ball's and Olive's story. Theirs is an Insta attraction when he shows up to watch over her at the hospital after she is injured from a bomb explosion at the gym. She is an employee of the motorcycle club and they look after their own. This is a forced proximity story that leads to romance. Cue Ball's relationship with her son Rocky will warm your heart. By the end of this book they still don't know who set the bomb and their reality show filming is about to start. I loved this story and the happily ever after for the single mom and her biker.
Cue Ball and Olive meet under unique circumstances and when he takes her home from the hospital, he meets her son, Rocky, and they click immediately.
The story actually starts out with their gym being bombed and Olive was filling in for a friend, so wrong place and winds up hurt.
A few interactions with other members of the club, but just a tad different from some MC stories. The story flows well enough, but was a little difficult to follow some of it at times.
Once again Winter has written another fantastic book. This is the second book in the Iron Fiend MC series and is all things Cue Ball, Olive and Rocky. As always it continues from the previous book and includes everyone from before. I love Cue and Olives story. Love how it just flows. Thanks for writing another fabulous book for me to get lost in. But thanks (not really) for leaving me wanting the next one. I highly recommend My Savior and everything else Winter has written. Go grab but you will need to start with book 1. Definitely 5 stars.
I am loving this new series by this author. Cue ball totally stole my heart from the get-go. When Olive is hurt after an incident at the gym, he is sent to make sure she stays safe and gets way more than he bargained. Olive is hilarious! She is also a feisty, independent single mum who argues with Cue over everything, but its so cute. I have absolutely loved watching these two and of course, through Rocky in there too and a visit from........ well you will have to read it to find out, but you won't be disappointed!!
Olive was almost blown up while cleaning the Iron Fiends MC's gym. Now she is hurt and has been sent a savior whether she wants one or not. Her only focus has been her precocious son Rocky and now Cue Ball is making himself indispensable. I loved this quick read and I gobbled it up. Rocky had me cracking up and Cue Ball made me swoon. Olive is such a strong woman and I loved how she struggled to depend on someone else. I can't wait for My Romeo next, such a great series.
~~~~~~~~~~Julie's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review~~~~~~~~~~
Olive is exactly what Cue needs even if he can’t see it. They are absolutely a great couple. This storyline is so so good.
I really enjoyed Cue Ball and Olive! He's there to protect, she's on edge about her job and her son. I really loved them both. Cue is amazing with her son, they all get along so well with a great back and forth. The story pulled me in and I couldn't put it down. This series is fun with a group of great characters, a little bit of tension, and more to look forward to!
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
This couple was made for each other. Cue and Olive, both had a hard time finding the live that they deserved. That is until they met and started the ball rolling in the relationship. I loved the kid in this story. He seemed so grown up to be a little. I loved the way this story flows and the way the characters mesh together. I can't wait to see what the author has in store for us in My Romeo.
I absolutely love this series. And Winter Travers hit this book out of the park. I couldn't put book down once started.
I loved Olive and Cue ball together, they get thrown together because what happened at end of my biker. Cue is there to protect Olive but they find love instead. Olive has been through a lot, and doesn't trust easy. But knows if she likes someone in first ten seconds.
It was pretty good but it could have been better. There's not any action that I expected there 2 b. O?I've is a single mom but cue ball was ordered 2 take care of thm and keep them safe. But what I don't get is safe from what exactly? It doesn't say. It started out interesting but then I feel like it went flat cause it didn't go anywhere really. But there was a few good spots in it. I'm disappointed
Omg what a great read. This is book 2 Cue Ball and Olive's story. Olive is a strong independent women and when an unexpected event causes her to rely on Cue it's hard for her to let him. Their banter is amazing and I loved going on this journey with them. I loved see some familiar faces pop in as well. I can't wait to see more of them in the future and get my hands on the next book.
Olive is a single mom that is taking it one day at a time. She went to work and a tragic incident happened. They told Cue to stay with her at the hospital. He was not happy but is doing what he is told. They have a special visitor and it makes him feel protective and he has no reason why! This spicy tension is all worth it at the end! I can’t wait for the next book.
OMG this book left me wanted more. My Saviour is book two about Iron Fiends MC this is Cue and Olive’s story. It’s an exciting keep you on the end of your seat read. Learning who’s who and still keeping in touch with the other MC’s like Wrecker and Alice. Oh you just know this is going to be an amazing series.
Standout character is Rocky. 10 years old, precocious, and says exactly what he means, Just like any child experiencing his mother's attraction to a new man, attention from an older male, and the awe given to motorcycles, friends and support. Cue and Olive may be the main characters, but Rocky's actions are scene-stealing.
Book two in the Iron Fiends. My Savior is a great story in Travers fashion that leaves us with a little cliffhanger. Absolutely love these new characters and MC. I can't wait to see how she brings the " TV show storyline into the series. Great addition to Travers new series!! Happy Reading 📚
Cue is assigned a single mother, Olive as her protector. Her workplace was blown to pieces. During his protection detail, he and Olive come to have feelings where this all turns a lot closer to him. Will Olive and Cue open up to each other to get to their HEA?
Iron Fiends MC is becoming 1 of my faves! The storyline in each book just draws you in gets you invested. I really enjoy how the stories intertwine with author's other series so we get to visit friends we haven't seen for a bit! Winter always writes damn good MC books!!!
Another Iron Fiends MC story and I loved it. Cue Ball and Olive are a favorite of mine. I really liked how they connected, more so Olive because she needed someone to show her that there was more to life than survival. Excellent read.
