Cartoonist, musician, & teacher Marek Bennett lives in New Hampshire and leads COMICS WORKSHOPS for all ages throughout New England and the world beyond.
Marek is one of my favorite cartoonists working today. His cartooning is energetic and heartfelt. This carefully researched tome documents many of the horrors of the civil war. The simple cartooning style makes it possible for Marek to accurately depict the awful violence, without completely overwhelming the reader. I eagerly look forward to volume four, and if you have not read the first three volumes, now is a great time to jump in! I give this series my highest recommendation.
La serie de Freeman Colby creada por Marek Bennett va siendo más impresionante, con más fuerza y más profunda con cada entrega. Este volumen es un lujo.
