This book's obvious intention is to explain to a younger adolescent audience the hard-to-explain-to-a-younger-adolescent-audience concept of justice. It does a decent enough job of that -- I found about twenty paragraphs the debaters I coach can use -- but it has a couple limitations. First, it's a bit contradictory in its dealing of the tension between justice and the law. Are laws just? Or aren't they? It depends on the chapter you're reading, apparently.
