This epistolary novel touches on the highs and lows of time, space, and consciousness; the ideas are made up of many circuits and networks. Tara and Slow Dance of Infinite Stars is a series of letters written in a stream of consciousness as if running through a serrated jungle. Sandy writes to Tara as if in search of an anchor. Review:

A book, love story, or should I say journey to find your "The Person" through letter writing and having intelectual, mature conversation.

As the title says, this is story of Tara and Sandy, who used to be classmates in their childhood. But later one day in 2009 they both meet again at an airport and starts to reminiscing their teenage days and share contacts number but later they both forget again each other. But now in present day Sandy finds Tara's contract again and try to connect with her through letters. And then they keep sending each other letters and in letters they starts to discuss all the things they feel or comes to know for the first time, or their life experiences till now. And somehow these conversations makes them closer to each other.

I absolutely love the book, I love the discussions between these two characters, their passion, love, heartbreaks, everything. It's makes me smile, emotional, excite with them, with each letters they send to each other. And also the letters keep me intriguing where the story going to end, are they going to meet each other, or it'll frizzle out. But the ending somehow more emotional and more perfect and going to make you remember the story for long. And I'm going to remember both Tara and Sandy for a long time for sure.

So definitely a book, I will happily recommend to everyone.

In the current world where meet ups between friends are rare and talks end with a minimal 'Hi and Hello', the importance and beauty of letters have somewhere got lost in the hustle and bustle world. The book 'Tara and Sandy' felt like a revival of that tradition. Words, feelings and emotions that can be expressed in letters are definitely irreplaceable. This book is a compilation of letters where the two friends Tara and Sandy who lost contacts for several years started reviving a friendly relationship between them through exchange of letters.

The feelings and emotions that were expressed inside the letter was so strong that throughout the book I felt as if I'm overhearing a conversation between two long lost friends. Friends are vital in our. As humans we definitely need someone to speak our heart out. Suppressed feelings can lead to various mental health issues. Majority of the time we just don't feel it is necessary to talk about our feelings because of the fear of vulnerability. We just don't analyse the harm it does to us. So, while reading the book I really felt the importance of having someone to share our issues with. When both Tara and Sandy were slowly and slowly got opened up and started sharing their struggles and perils I could feel the sign of relief from both sides.

"Tara and Sandy: Slow Dance of Infinite Stars" is a beautiful, engaging and unputdownable book. I hope people read this book and analyse and revive the culture of letter writing.

Today, we live in a world where technology has progressed and evolved so much that we are able to connect and communicate with anyone we want within an instant.

Yet there is a certain charm that letters hold as they are not only something which can be used as a keepsake to treasure, but have also proven to be extremely therapeutic as well.

‘Tara and Sandy: Slow Dance of Infinite Stars’ by Sita Bhaskar and Sabarna Roy is therefore unique in a way as it paints a beautiful story, but its distinctiveness lies in the way it has been narrated which is through letters that our protagonists share with each other.

As they say, the friendships that we generally make during our formative years are the ones which are usually true and real, as these are the relationships which we form without any prejudices or selfishness.

When Tara and Sandy reconnected again, it seemed like the decades that had been long passed were nothing as they so very easily fell into a pattern that was simply heart warming to read.

The book does take us on a wonderful journey and has so many factors that will make the readers to pause and reminisce about the beautiful memories that have gone and take a moment to cherish. Hence I am going to give this FIVE STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Tara and Sandy : Slow dance of infinite stars by Sabarna Roy and Sita Bhaskar is a really unique romantic story. The story revolves around Tara and Sandy who meet after a very long time and the chemistry is instant between them. Both now adults and on really different phases of their life, they decide to rekindle their correspondence through the medium of letters.
Slowly this letter writing takes them on a soul baring journey and discovery of love and longing for each other.
This is really a short story if around 140+ pages which can be read in one sitting. The way the letters are written in poetical form, describing the various aspects of the lives of main characters is a treat for reading. The word building is amazing and the character depth that is seen is commendable. The way the situation progresses and how beautifully it is conveyed through the letters is really interesting to read.
The language is easy to understand. The title is apt and poetic. The cover is beautiful. A really good story.

"Silence is the pinnacle of isolation; it kills us from inside."

In the endless battle of right and wrong, good and evil within one's own minds, how fortunate it is to find and connect with people who can make one feel peaceful just by exchanging letters.

Tara and Sandy are two such people who seek to build a connection that can ripen with possibilities. And in their beautiful meeting among words, lost souls can find their path to healing, peace and liberation.

With such novel idea, "Tara and Sandy: Slow Dance of Infinite Stars" by Sita Bhaskar and Sabarna Roy brings into the contemporary world the classic form of epistolary novel in the spirits of modern times.

Embedded with personal anecdotes and philosophical thoughts, nostalgia and grievances, joys and elations, desires and longings, sorrows and regrets, emotions and reminiscence, the novel introduces traditional letter writing with a modernist twist.

At a time when letter writing is completely dead and the cult of conversation is almost lost, emerges a book that revives both the art in the most compelling way which reinforces the idea that there is a subtle magic in words.

Different voices emerge in the letters exchanged between Tara and Sandy, which are both eloquent and distinct in their own way. Thus embarking on a promising relationship with words, the character of Tara and Sandy comes alive through their  conversations.

Troubled by their past traumas and present situations, they find solace in each other's company felt through the richly composed letters, where they can just be themselves, without facing the pressures of being the best at every single thing.

Their words fall as balms upon each other's tattered soul. Running away from their own demons they find comfort in one another's letters. Their conversations are a means to bare their soul and unload the burden of their mind. They are a subtle call out to heal the deep seeded wounds and fix what's broken inside them. Their journey is like sensing the presence of a faint light amid a tumultuous ride through darkness.

Written in the stream of consciousness technique, Sandy's letters exhibit his search for a calm in the face of calamity, an oasis in the unending desert, rooting for an anchor amid violent storm while Tara's letters emit a calm, poised grace. So, while Sandy's thoughts are rather scattered with shifting moods, Tara's is more gathered with a steady tone, perhaps owing to the different lives that had lived.

Poetry, short story and journal jottings also colour the novel in the letters of Sandy while Tara's letter is filled with subtle humour and sarcasm, kept in place by vivid imagery.

And just like several voices merge in the novel, diverse topics too combine in here to provoke our thoughts in different directions and expand our consciousness.
But more astounding is the ease with which one voice seeps into another, just as one topic smoothly blends into another.

The feeling of uncertainty and anticipation surrounds the book that endeavors to pique the readers' curiosity and keep them on the edge of their seats, guessing and wondering all the while, the clichéd question of "what will happen next?"

The epistolary form that's so meticulously employed in the novel serves to throw light on the insights into the mind of the characters while giving the readers a chance to go a few decades back into the world of letter writing and conversational exchanges.

The ending is sure to leave the readers enthralled, pondering over the uncertainty of life and the peculiarities of all its experiences. But the taste of an incredible story that unfolded simply through the exchange of a few letters will leave the readers craving for more. And that's enough reason for one to fasten their seatbelts and jump into the ride through such a riveting novel.

"It always takes someone else's experiences to reel in one's perspective of one's own life."

"Tara and Sandy" is something unique and distinct. As we all forgot about the letter writing in this advance modern technical life, this book gives the immense pleasure of the love and care that bounds the friendship and relationship.

The conversations that goes in between Tara and Sandy reveals even our childhood and school hood times and friends. The bond in between them gives us our memory too. The curiosity that the author created in each and every letter that they sent and replied back was awesome. The author not only created the curiosity for Tara and Sandy, but also to the readers to know the story of them.

The letters passed by both of them not only shares their personal and professional life, but also all about the common topics, world news and many more to explore the knowledge. Each of their opinion, mental health, lifestyle, family, parents and everything that surrounds them sounds engrossing and intriguing by keeping the plot more interesting to go back to the next letter.

The physical and mental health of Sandy and the moral support that he is expecting from Tara, the pleasant calm feel and past forgotten memories of her own self that Tara receiving from Sandy are really awesome to read and explore. The exchanges of emotional bond of an old school friends in their old age and the untold love story between them makes the read more pleasure. Also the authors make it very practical and the discussions over them, the conversations transferring from letter to letter is engrossing and engaging.

I read this book at a stretch for what would be the reply from Tara as Sandy wrote the letter first. We can also explore many travel places, spots, poems, literature and some short stories as the authors made perfectly the profession of the protagonists as a filmmaker and a writer. Every single discussion and conversation between them makes the read most interesting.

As the cover is so gorgeous and the title is simply attracting, the easy language and rich vocabulary, the unique writing style and the wonderful realistic narration makes the book so warm and charm. This is a nice book to read at a travel to make the journey still more pleasure to kindle our old memories too. Pleasurable read!

The Iraq – Kuwait war Afghanistan crumbled to the ground
Syria crumbled to the ground The Kargil war in between
Now, Russia attacks Ukraine on whims and fancy

🙂 The cover of the book is okeyish to me as I don't connect with it more personally. But the title is surely engrossing.
🙂 The writing style of the book is just wonderful. Both the authors took a great concept & executed the theme quite precisely by narrating a memoir or a contemporary plotline in such a different way.
🙂 Language used in the book is simple & easy to understand.
🙂 The way the author threw light on different events different issues & the way they get rid of it is just impressive.
🙂 The way the author scrutinized each & every point that deserves to be appreciated.
🙂 The concept of sonnets, phrases, poems are not new to me as I read many other books of Sabarna Roy based on such themes. But the book is unique as it carries a different set of emotions which is unbeatable in this genre.
🙂 The book is full of emotions & that emotion is going to make you feel for it & connects with you for a quite long time.

🪷Letter writing is one of the most romantic and passionate ways of connecting with your lover or friend. Sometimes we can express ourselves more in a letter than a physical conversation. But nowadays, chats and social media take the place of letters. Still, I think letters always remain special.
🪷"Tara and Sandy: slow dance of Infinite Stars" is the story of two friends Tara and Sandy connecting with each other through letters and these letters are the base of this book.
🪷The conversation between Tara and Sandy about their love, heartbreaks, loneliness, each and everything, is really interesting to read. Friends are always special, we can share our real emotions with a true friend and when we lost that friend, we started to ignore our emotions which turned into loneliness and mental issues. The friends that we make in your school and college days always remain true, real and special. And when we again reconnected with them we flourished again. like our past years. This thing happens in the book, when Tara and Sandy reconnected again after a long time and shared a beautiful relationship between them through exchange of letters.
🪷The writing is so good that it gives life to the emotions of the two characters. One can feel their love, pain and loneliness. The bond between Tara and Sandy makes me remember my school days. Those memories are pure and beautiful. The letter that they exchanged with each other not only talks about their personal life but also the world news, knowledge, interesting topics etc.
🪷Personal Insight:
As a person of this modern generation, where real conversations, real bonds are merely an illusion, these letters give me hope that real love and friendship still exists in this world. This book gives you that excitement that we feel after receiving long awaited reply or maybe a gift or a letter which we did not feel these days due to social media. The characters are well crafted, the language is lucid. I love the story.

First of all, I would like to thank the author for writing this beautiful book. Honestly, the name “Tara And Sandy” at first sounded quite ordinary but the content inside the book is different and deserves appreciation. The authors have done a great job, portraying the emotions of their characters in a very unique way, let's see how.

Tara And Sandy, Slow Dance Of Infinite Stars, is all about expressing love in an old school manner. In the era of modern technology, writing letters is indeed rare but isn't it the most beautiful feeling? Writing your heart out? Yes it is and I am sure others would agree too. This book revolves around two protagonists, Tara and Sandy, who reunite after 26 years, one day at the airport. They have known each other since school and Sandy had a crush on Tara. Through these letters, not only did they share the nostalgia of their school days but also their personal and professional lives. The epitome of this book would be Mental Health, when they both needed a shoulder to cry on, they needed someone to share their feelings with, they found each other. This is how they felt connected to each other, this is how the bond flourished.

The most beautiful and important thing that this book reminds me of is that it's never too late to start a conversation with your old contacts. Isn't it so heartwarming to know about someone who used to be your classmate back then but after losing touch, you don't even care about their existence? This is the harsh and bitter truth.
Another aspect that kept me engaged would be, sharing experiences with each other. This is the only way through which two people feel empathetic for one another and share togetherness.

The plot kept me hooked till the end. Language was simplified and I really enjoyed it as it was like reading these old handwritten letters to my soul. I'll recommend this one.

Tara and Sandy is a beautiful novel that combines exemplary flavor with wonderfully unfurling letters. The book follows an invigorating storyline absent a lot of shows yet what compels it to stand separated is to be sure the portrayal. This novel for the most part concerns the existence of Tara and Sandy and the entire book can be considered as letter-based discussions which were traded between 2 characters by all appearances the book is effectively intelligent of the harmony and capacity of a person with which they can relate as both these characters are endless stars who despite the gradualness of their life radiate brilliantly and glowing.

Sandy beginnings composing letters to Tara, a school companion who he has late reconnected with 26 years after the fact, and causing him a deep sense of shock, Tara likewise begins answering him in a to some degree formed way. Following recollections of their school days, they fire making up for lost time with their typical lives and before long structure an association.

The sections of the book have been adequately organized basically by following a particular topic of letter trade and all through stay effective. It is a short perused that you can without much of a stretch completion in no less than a day, and you will wind up looking over the pages retained in those nostalgic letters. Notwithstanding, the language is excessively straightforward and I felt that superior language and jargon might have made it more significant. The characters' considerations, sentiments, and predicament were capably portrayed. The phrasing is direct, and one might relate to each character's encounters. It's a sluggish and unusual read.

This is a book with collections of letters between Tara and Sandy, two friends who has been lost their touch with each other for long time and now they are reconnecting their friendship. Through letter-writing, they were able to rekindle their olden days and memories. Tara and Sandy are central to the narrative, which is exchanging through the letters. After 26 years, Sandy and Tara sharing their views and it made the reading much interesting.

The imaginations of the authors have produced a charming version of epistolary that will impress your heart. We can understand their lifestyle, relationship, some common topics and many more easily, because the story is delivered through letters within the two major characters who writes to one another like a real life. It makes us go for a close look into the minds and hearts of the characters.

I used to write letters but now in this modern technological world, letters are rarely sent. They are real feelings captured through writing. And reading it will give the immense pleasure of receiving the same feel. The travel of emotions for a period of time to get replied is such a fantastic feel. The authors created the curiosity, not only in-between the characters and also they brought it to the readers which make them feel realistic and touchable.

I had never read a novel like this and I adored the style of writing. I am sure you cannot put this quick read down before finishing it. You became hooked on it. It is based on some true events and the people in it are well-represented. The language is lucid. The title is simple but the cover of the book is gorgeous. Recommended to enjoy and go back to the phase of letter-writing.

And this book turns out to be an amazing one.

In today's world writing a letter is really forgotten by us. We all have became dependent on technical devices for communications but in this book when I was reading the letters that Tara and Sandy— our protagonist —write each other, I really felt nostalgic.

The way authors have presented this two characters, the emotions, relationships, human connection etc. is simply amazing.

The writing style of the author is so lively that I was visualizing all the scenes that are described in the book.

Tara and Sandy were school friends and they lost contact for 26 years. After 26 years they meet at Airport - they nostalgia that is shown here is simply awesome.
They started to write letters to each other.

There were several instances when I was relating with the characters and the scenes.
One thing that I personally loved is the well described information that they share with each other.

I am from Nabadwip and in this book in a letter that Sandy is writing to Tara, he has mentioned my birthplace I was so delighted by reading it.

Book Review: Tara and Sandy: Slow Dance of Infinite Stars by Sita Bhaskar and Sabarna Roy

Tara and Sandy: Slow Dance of Infinite Stars is a novel that takes the reader on an emotional journey of self-discovery, romance, and a rekindling of human connection. The novel is written in the form of letters exchanged between the two main characters, Sandy and Tara, and this epistolary style adds a unique dimension to the story.

The novel explores the complexities of adult relationships and the challenges that come with navigating the highs and lows of time, space, and consciousness. The authors do an excellent job of creating a compelling narrative that captures the reader's attention from the very first page. The slow burn of sexual chemistry between the two characters adds an extra layer of tension and excitement to the story.

One of the things that sets Tara and Sandy: Slow Dance of Infinite Stars apart from other romance novels is the intelligence and depth of the characters. Both Sandy and Tara are well-developed and multi-dimensional, and their conversations are intelligent and thought-provoking. The novel also explores the themes of loneliness, longing, and the search for meaning and purpose in life.

Overall, Tara and Sandy: Slow Dance of Infinite Stars is a beautifully written novel that revives the lost art of letter writing and intelligent conversation. TARA AND SANDY: Slow Dance of Infinite Stars.
___

"This EPISTOLARY novel touches on the highs and lows of time, space, and consciousness; the ideas are made up of many circuits and networks.

Tara and Sandy: Slow Dance of Infinite Stars IS A SERIES OF LETTERS written in a stream of consciousness as if running through a serrated jungle.

Sandy writes to Tara as if in search of an anchor. Tara replies in a comparatively calmer and poised manner."-- BUSINESS WORLD.
___
It does feel like a "slow dance" of infinite stars.

Writing letters to each other, after so many years, bridging the communication gap, long broken, feels so "surreal". Tara was Sandy's crush, in other words he was love struck years years back. He never approached her for fear of rejection. What if he would have, maybe their story would be different, who knows? It's better to give your dreams your best shot than living in " What ifs" and regrets.

I loved reading through their letters. I found Sandy's conversations deep & very descriptive encompassing history & historical events, his life & relationships, his feelings & thoughts whereas Tara seemed impromptu & lightheaded in her reverts.

Letters are a great way of communicating as they are a personalized, hard copy for keepsake.

What disheartened me & left me in lurch was "the end"... I am still thinking about it.. Why.. Why? !

Read this book if you ever liked/ loved someone during school days. I feel like reconnecting with my school mates now.

Firstly, huge respect and great appreciation to the author Sita Bhaskar and Sabarna Roy making such a masterpiece.

This book comes up with an unique concept where two main protagonist Tara and Sandy exchanging letters with each other. The story revolves around Tara & Sandy, & is told through the letters which is something different I've come across. Sandy & Tara were school friends & after 26 years they got reunited due to some consequences. After that Sandy starts writing letters to Tara & Tara in a surprise to him, also starting writing back to him. However the letters are not normal letters, they have sonnets, phrases, and poems from various parts of their life

Usually I don't admire the book by it's cover or title but this time I acknowledge that the title is different at the same time suitable .The cover page of the book is giltering and eye soothable too.

What I was impressed with the most was the flow of the writing! Everything is gelled together seamlessly and I whizzed through the book in one sitting. This is a type of book which I can read whenever or wherever I am. The author's technique of raw, magnetic characters and great plotlines is a gift.

Overall, I loved the book and strongly recommend fellow readers to give it a try. And lastly, I'd thank the man who edited this cover, else it would have taken more or less months to come across the read, post finishing the other books of my collection.

Reviews. I read this book to give my unbiased and honest review.
Must recommend.

The book is a beautiful portrayal of the bond of friendship, and the care and concern that friends can have for each other. The conversations between Tara and Sandy are genuine and heartfelt, covering a range of topics from physical and mental health to old memories and life experiences.

The authors have done a wonderful job of weaving these conversations into the story, making it an emotional and thought-provoking read.Tara and Sandy exchange letters and we know about their lives. It is as if there are multiple layers of their personalities, and with each letter, one layer is removed and we come to know something about the characters. They were schoolmates and had a chance to meet at an airport. Sandy, who is desperately trying to find something to hold on to, finds a friend in Tara who freely speaks her mind. The letters also convey their different personalities – we can see that Sandy is troubled and often engages in self-loathing whereas Tara seems always in control of her words and emotions

Book ~ Tara and Sandy: Slow Dance of Infinite Stars

Author ~ Sita Bhaskar, Sabarna Roy

This book is an imaginary perused with a bit of sentiment in it. The story sets up in Calcutta and rotates around the heroes Tara and Sandy who met in the wake of 26 monotonous years after school. The two of them were colleagues and Sandy used to cherish Tara in school days yet his adoration never got responded. This book gives the huge delight of the affection and care that ties the fellowship and relationship, as we have all overlooked letter writing in this exceptional present day mechanical world.

The manner in which creator depicted the two characters and their lives is enthralling. The battles flaunted all through the story is some place appealing to the genuine existences of ladies. The most gorgeous piece of the story is the letters. It was nostalgic to find out about the letters that the two companions shared for correspondence. The book happens with the discussion between two remarkable characters named Tara and Sandy and they share their cherished recollections and bond by means of letters.

How Essayist has created letters and their responses is incredibly astounding. These letters have all of the shades of their life and experiences. There is an optimal demonstration of old memories and moral assistance in the book through these two characters. Thus, in case you are looking for an outdated novel, The Language of the Book is Clear. The Front of the Book is Amazing. The Title of the Book is Well - Picked.

Highly recommended 💫

Tara and Sandy: Slow Dance of Infinite Stars penned by Sabarna Roy and Sita Bhaskar.

Pages- 152

Language - English

Genre- Epistolary Novel

Book cover and title - striking and engaging.

Heart-touching line- Silence is the pinnacle of isolation; it kills us from the inside…

The story revolves around Tara and Sandy who haven't met each other since school time and meet each other after 26 years. Both then talk to each other and share whatever happened in their lives. Both authors have adopted a different approach in writing this book, that is writing in letters which is quite spectacular. This story runs in before and after. Sandy writes a letter to Tara, in which he tells Tara everything in his heart and also tells that he is going through depression these days due to which he is not perceiving everything adequately. Then the process of writing letters to each other commenced. I think it is true that as much as we can share our hearts with our friends, we cannot do that much with anyone else. The authors have also illustrated the same thing in this book and that's an engaging concept of this book.

The concept of the story is quite different and also the writing style of this book. The writers have demonstrated a meticulous example of true friendship in front of us.

This book is a perfect choice for literature lovers. We need the patience to read this. If we try to read it promptly, then we will not be able to deeply comprehend the emotions hidden in this book.

Tara and Sandy by Sabarna Roy . Slow Dance of Infinite Stars, an irreverent novel that revives both letter writing and intelligent conversation in a compelling narrative. This slim novel doesn’t hurl us into immediacy for its own sake. It leads us to this sense of urgency as two schoolmates, not exactly great friends, resume a long-distance relationship in a desultory fashion after a chance meeting at an airport – a standard meet cute cliché. Sandy and Tara positively reject the meet cute formula. After twelve long years, Sandy takes the initiative with a long ballad dedicated to Tara and her answer is amused, intrigued and non-committal. This slow dance of advance and retreat proceeds like a Tango in suspension,Tara is upfront but willing to indulge Sandy’s meandering missives embedded with covert hints. Tara’s letters cut with sarcasm but are also vivid with imagery as befits a filmmaker who has abandoned her profession Films like The Blair Witch Project and the Paranormal Activity franchise use “found footage” and home videos to give authenticity to imagined stories. Novels now use cinematic tropes and insert emails, texts and power point presentations for staccato tempo. Tara’s sharp observations power the letters with humour and matter-of-fact brevity. The alternating rhythms and tempo of the narrative keep us riveted.
I absolutely loved every page of it. Of course I would recommend this book to all readers...

The epistolary form of narrating a story is considered to be a very old one, yet there is something so alluring and enchanting about it that just has the ability to grab the attention of the readers.

And this is the reason why, even though letters as a form of communication seems to have lost its hold in current times, in novels, they still have enough charm to make us all swoon.

‘Tara and Sandy: Slow Dance of Infinite Stars’ is therefore a beautiful story between two individuals who were best of friends in their childhood years but lost touch as the time passed by.

However, destiny had some other plans for them as they are reunited once again, and this time, they are determined not to let anything come in between them or ruin their relationship, so they start conversing through letters.

This was such a warm book that has the ability to lend an air of day-to-day realism, all the while making the readers explore unusual perspectives, or rather focus on characterization rather than the over bloated descriptions.

Writing an entire story just through letters is without a doubt a difficult job as there are so many different rules that can differ greatly from those in the conservative narratives and therefore can be seen as restrictive.

Yet, in this book, we see none of it happen and the story just flowed smoothly, thereby keeping us engrossed through out, hence I am going to give this FIVE STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
