Just when Vance and I are ready to tie the knot, someone from my past comes back to haunt me. Over the past couple of years, I’ve put away my fair share of bad guys, and all of them would like to see revenge.
The question is, which one of them is it?
When curses start to befall my friends, there's no way it's coincidental. The culprit knows the surefire way to get back at me is to target those I love.
As if I needed any more motivation.
Listen up, Wedding Crasher, I took you down once, and I'll take you down again. And this time? You might not get back up.
I'm a mystery author with a soft spot for romance and humor, too. I love all things girlie with a dollop of danger, have a strong affinity for the color pink (especially in diamonds and champagne), and, not to brag, but chocolate and I are in a pretty serious relationship.
My books are fun and flirty, and feature smart and sassy sleuths. If you love books with a dash of spice and twist of whodunit, you're going to love my work!
Finally, things are falling into place with Angie and Vance's wedding coming soon. But with so many strange things happening to try and stop their marriage, and affecting their friends as well, will the wedding really happen. With so many twists and turns and we are taken on a roller coaster ride of a page turning mystery. With Angie having put away so many in the past, has one of them returned for revenge. With so many possible suspects, can Angie catch the culprit and go ahead with her wedding? I love the characters in this series. Not only are the main characters, Angie and Beth are very likeable, but the twins are really fun! This is the 8th book in a series that you will love! I can't wait to see what else the author has in store in the wonderful small town of Silverlake. I received and ARC of this book but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.
The wedding at last, it naturally not going to happen without some hiccups like murder and attempts on Angelica’s life. It got pretty serious a couple of times, which I enjoy. I loved seeing Rocky again but still no word on Gunner’s fate. As for the case, well, there were two to solve, one I guessed pretty soon, the other I actually didn’t really care. Which is no wonder, two mysteries to solve within 150 pages, plus the whole wedding stuff going on besides that, doesn’t leave much place for invested reading. Which is my main criticism, so much going on it kind of made the murder case itself pretty unnecessary. But it was nice to see everyone coming together in order to identify the threat and protect Angelica and everyone else.
Another fantastic installment in one of my favorite series. I really look forward to these books. A trip to Silverlake is like visiting with old friends. This mystery really kept me guessing. Lots of suspense and lots of twists and plenty of suspects. So glad to see the twins are growing and maturing. They have quickly become two of my favorite characters. I love that all of the characters always come together to help each other especially with everyone having so much on their plates already with the upcoming wedding and winter festival. Such a wonderful series and I’m really looking forward to the next book.
This is another series that I really like. In this case there's a wedding coming up but first there's a town celebrating the season with a Christmas tree. Unfortunately, the tree has an addition- a dead body.
Then there's the church where the wedding was due to be performed. Unfortunately, the church goes boom and that's it for the church.
You also have a ghost that likes to play pranks, a fire in the inn and a whole lot of other things happening. It' not the best way to prepare for a wedding.
Jingle Bells and Wedding Spells is a very twisted, fun, cozy mystery. Finally Vance and Angie have a date for their wedding, but murder and a few other hurdles seem to be trying to prevent that event. I love these mysteries set in Silverlake. I love the supporting characters, the small town and that I never figure out who did it or why. Clear your calendar and enjoy this well written mystery now!
With only days remaining until the wedding, a nasty blast from the past is wreaking havoc in town. Angelica’s aunt continues working on the wedding while Angelica tracks down the troublemaker. This was a fun page-turner of a mystery, with a fine plot and amusing characters. I love this series and am looking forward to the next book. I received a complimentary copy of this book and chose to write a voluntary, unbiased review.
How scary for Angelica! This was a very intense case and it had few leads. I couldn’t imagine trying to solve such a case with no clues or any ideas! And then to become the focus of someone who wanted to do away with her. No thank you! She is a strong and formidable witch. I am happy for Vance and her. Loved reading this book!
Such a sweet ending to this book. Reading these 8 books makes me feel a part of their story and what I wouldn’t give to have do many great friends. Still a mystery to solve and gun loving characters.
An unknown enemy, mysterious goings on and a most endearing couple. The town is wonderful filled with real people and shops I can see in my mind. Lots of action, some breath holding moments and an ending worth waiting for!
What good read I've loved all the books in this series I always come away with a smile on my face great characters and a great storylines a well deserved 5 stars
