This is a amazing adventure gamebook where you are the main character and you decide what to do in your adventure. I advise that you have: a piece of paper (for jotting down life-points and any items you get during your quest); a book mark or two (for keeping the last page you were on, incase you forget what number paragraph to turn to); and two dice for the combat system. The bookmark can be substituted with a thumb and there is a notes page in the book too but I just didn't want to write in the book personally.
Since the combat system is quite confusing, here is a brief example of how it works. Let's say that you come across two guards you can't sneak past. You need to add up both guards "damage" rating, since the first guard deals two life-points of damage and the second deals one. The damage you will receive will be minus three life-points each hit they do. Then, you need to decide if you want to try to roll your two dice to get a seven or more to deal one damage, or you can aim high and try to get nine or higher to deal three damage (the skulls show how many life-points your opponent has). However, if you don't roll what you hoped you would roll the guards will attack. It all sounds complicated but once I was used to it I loved the thrill of fighting.
All the puzzles in the book really get your brain working and I can imagine reading this book over and over again. I haven't found any errors with the book so they must have tested it really well. This book is brilliant for all kids (even ones that claim not to like reading!) and I already want more of them to be written. It has more elements to it than any other "choose your own path" books which make it the best one ever!

Witch path will you take Dark or light? Will you walk towards the darkness or choose the illuminated way, your choice. In this book you have abilities like stealth agility and lock picking you also have life points twelve of them to be exact. Are you up to the task to help your fellow league members or die trying.
In this book the main character is the reader so there fears are not knowing what is round the next corner. There hopes are Hoping if they can get out of there and complete the challenges there age is the readers age their looks is disguising themselves and their interest are stealing and surviving. They are on a mission to help there league members.
The problem is there is a guy that will give their league members back if they steal a golden thing from the most protected castle in the city. Thieves have gone in and never came out so good luck.
Your in charge of your own destiny will you succeed in the challenges that lie ahead or will you lose your precious lives.
Your friends are in danger time is running out no one else knows them your the only one…

Като тегля чертата, мога твърдо да ви препоръчам "Лигата на крадците", въпреки грешките в изданието (а и все пак можете да си нанесете горните корекции и в голяма степен да не ви повлияят). Чудесна е най-вече за деца, добра е и за книго-играчи, които не са загубили детското в себе си и няма да бъдат отблъстнати от по-лековатата литературна страна, а има какво да предложи и на хардкор-играчите, които обичат да търсят оптимален път -> максимален резултат.

This book is so good.
It was a great concept and it is very entertaining.
I am not constantly checking how much of the book I have left, because I have no ideia since I'm always jumping around.
Very quick to read, I didn't even feel the time passing by.
My story was interest, but I don't know where I went wrong, because I NEVER had any of the itens people asked me for. Got like 75 at the end... Yeah..
It was a great concept and it is very entertaining.

It’s an adventure book, with many possibilities and decisions. The puzzles are great and not easy. The story is very interesting and with many moments of suspense.

A typical story book has Chapters, maybe in a Prologue or Epilogue too, revealing the story gradually. The author(s) have planned and written following a narrative, they have decided who the characters are, what the events will be ~ action, adventure or otherwise. It all sounds straightforward enough when we think about books in this way. But what if it’s turned on its head?
