Miles Kim, cyborg and relic of a war fading from memory, is on the last train ride of his life.
When a gang of bandits attacks the train, Miles and a hundred passengers find themselves under siege in the middle of a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
But there’s more to the robbery than meets the eye.
An unknown entity has set its sights on the Seraph Express. As people start getting picked off one by one, Miles realizes that any rescue will be too late and no one will make it out alive unless he can stop it.
It’s a struggle for survival and a race to discover what is after them and who among the survivors is hiding a secret worth killing for.

I really enjoyed this series that mixes old western stories with futuristic cities and a dash of post apocalyptic world. It introduces Miles Kim, an old solder, who just wants to live out his life in quit. But that is not to be and thus begins a wild and fun series that kept me guessing and entertained to the end. Interesting and fun characters are introduced and crazy situation Miles must survive. Loved them all and had a hard time putting them down.
Probably among the best written current science fiction out there. Implausible characters and events made believable, dialogue that rings true and leaves you wanting more
This book had interesting characters, what looks to be a fascinating planet, and a lot of detailed and fun character interactions mixed with lots of action. And the main character found a dog, so what more could you ask for. I enjoyed this boxed set and recommend it.
I really enjoyed this set of stories, and I can be pretty picky. A neat mix of futuristic with a Western vibe, wrapped up in a detective novel. Not too cliche and comes with some witty dialogue on occasion.
this was a great cyborg book. full of mystery and case solving little romance. but a fun read if you like cyborgs and old-time settings. a firefly like setting with a cyborg.
