most of these recipes need a lot more salt than the recipe calls for, but creamy turnips with cheese - i say yum!

Nothing really different or new. I like and would recommend Slow Cooker Revolution: One Test Kitchen, 30 Slow Cookers, 200 Amazing Recipes from Kitchen, America's Test. It discusses the hows and why a method is better than another.
