Excellent Read!
I really enjoyed reading this book! That ending tho.... I wanted to say, "What the hell?!!! Two women had me wondering about what was on their mind? The drunk Lassiter from Connecticut and the scorned Thornton mother who wouldn't just give up and let her children and husband live in peace! I am glad Jade is finally happy and married to Blake who really loves her! I know that everyone who reads this book will have some laughs and maybe some tears! I definitely recommend it!

GREAT READ. I am so happy with how mature the Harrison and Brooks children are. This was a lovely holiday read. It's hard to go into depth without creating spoilers but this book was a great addition to the series.

What a wonderful way to end the Season of Weddings for the Lassiter family. The story was magical!! Loved how Iris Bolling finalized the Virginia Lassiter stories but left the door open for new stories and Joe's family, the Connecticut Lassiters and Sally Anne's family. Can't wait for future stories.
Love how she handled the main nemesis that has been around way to long...I'm just saying...lol
You can see the young ones, as well, in the Lassiter, Harrison, Brooks and Thompson families are coming into their own and will rule the world.
I see a complete reread of Gems & Gents in the near future!!!

This story is the perfect ending to the Lassiter family's wedding series! It opens the door for so many new ventures for the Lassiter tribe: the young Lassiters ready to stake their claim in the family, and the Friends Forever Group with their own form of communication. I tell you , the Lassiter young people are going to be a force to reckon with.
Sophia Thornton....Lawd Have Mercy.... Iris Boiling knows how to eliminate a character. I'll leave that right there! Then there's Sally's family. What a Grand gesture. Let’s not forget the Wedding! What an affair, indeed! Love the chemistry between Jade and Blake.

Putting on the Glitz
Fabulous conclusion to the last Lassiter standing..Jade. Blake and Cynthia are put to a test beyond anything they have ever encountered. I love this family and see new chapters are forming rapidly. Great read with lots of twists, turns and love.

This was an excellent ending to a great series, I’ve enjoyed The Lassiter Wedding Series! This family is definitely down to protect each other, I loved the way the Lassiter Men loved their wives. I laughed Soo hard reading some of the Drama between the families.

A movie 🎥 🍿
This book read like reading a movie. I felt like I could visualize everything in this book like watching a movie. The descriptions were so on point and were so well done. This book was a perfect close to the Lassiter wedding series. It’s always a good and fun time to catch up with the Lassiters with their unconditional love for one another and the will to fight for each other when negativity comes into play. Jade and Blake’s wedding was one for the books and one I would love to attend.
Sofia is evil and she was written as the perfect villain. I don’t understand how one person could be so nasty and vindictive towards their own blood.
I hope more will come from this family and that we will see Sally reconnect with her family like she helped Joe to do with his.
Highly recommend this book and series and the remaining books on this family.

Iris Bolling has done it again!!
A Christmas Affair is funny, intriguing, sexy, loving, full of family drama and some oh so precocious children especially Samuel and Cynthia's oldest daughter! Well, Jade is the last Lassiter Gem to walk down the aisle and to say some serious things happened before she and Blake were wed is an understatement. There are parts of this story where I laughed so hard it was hard to catch my breath. There are other areas in this story where what was happening to some of the characters made me cringe! If I am honest, I would admit that some of the things that happened to some of the characters was well deserved and so over due! Overall, this culmination of Lassiter weddings was so well worth the wait that once I started reading, I could not put it down until I was finished. I loved reading Blake and Jade's story! All of you Iris Bolling fans, you will not be disappointed with this story, its outcome or all of the things that happened along the way! All I can really say is, its an excellent read!!!!

Another great book by Iris Bolling. A great love story about Jade Lasseter and her sister in laws brother movie star Blake. Not only was it great but it also had a great story about Cynitha daughter Samantha. We been wanting a story about Samantha and we finally got one. Love you books Iris . Keep up the good writing. Had everything you could want in a holiday romance that left you wondering who was next. The family vibe & unity of the Lassiter’s was strong and solid based on love. I could feel those emotions from the first words. Jade & Blake were a match made in heaven even though it took years to get here.
If you feel lost and don’t get some of the connections and people be sure to read the full Gems & Gents stories for a clearer picture. If you want even more start with JD & Tracy to get it all.

Wow Jade and Blake...this was a great story with many twists and turns...Sofia was hatred walking...the next generation is going to be a force...I was beside myself when I thought Samantha was going to give in to her grandmother but thankfully she told an adult so that protection could be put in place...nooow the prostitution ring and the connections will be interesting....#next

This was both a happy and sad story for me. On one hand, Jade and Blake's story was the end of the Gem and Gents segment of the Lassiter family. On the other hand, I am just waiting for Jessie James' book.
Blake and Cynthia's mother was a horrible human being. The things she was willing to do were hateful and heartless. The only thing that bothered me about this book was Jade's frequent reminders to Blake about Sofia being his mother. At some point, with a parent like that, the only thing Blake could have done was walk away for his own good.
Tbh, the jury is still out on Samantha. She is a little too much out of pocket to me. I don't necessarily mind the fact that she is outspoken, but she I feel like she exhibits a level of disrespect that I haven't seen in the other Lassiter's, even when discussing their own successes and abilities. I think Joshua tops that list, but he hasn't seemed disrespectful to Sally and Joe. I had no issue with the way she handled Sofia.
I liked Blake and Jade's wedding. It was a sweet ending to the wedding season before the twists made an appearance. I thoroughly enjoyed the audiobook. It is going on my re-listen list.
For now, I will return to the Brooks and the Dunning's to see what they are up to in their world. 4.5 stars.

The Wedding Season has come to an end❤️❤️❤️
Oh my I was on the edge of my seat from the beginning of this book until the end I have been anticipating Blake and Jades wedding since I completed her book and this Lassiter Wedding series began. The discerption of the events leading up to the wedding and the wedding and reception were so enjoyable. I felt as if I had a front row seat ❤️❤️❤️ ❤️.
I must say this last book was packed with so many unexpected events, and I’m not just talking about the wedding planning.😱 From Sophia,to Aunt Tamara ( who could have easily been relegated to Sophia with their jealous hearted selves) 😡
I found my self talking out loud to both of them ,trying to warn them to watch their mouths 😂😂😂 unfortunately neither one of them heard me 😂. Especially Sophia🤦🏽♀️
And then There was Samantha ,Jade & Blake’s teenage niece (Daugther of Samuel and Cynthia Lassiter) .she reminded me so much of a young Phire, with her quick wit and mouth 😅. She had me worried and saying oh Lawd a few times while reading.
I am sorry this series has ended but Ms. Bolling dropped a few nuggets in this story that had me hoping there will be more to come from the Lassiter clan because there are some unanswered questions concerning Aunt Belle and Sally ,Jo and his brother both seem to have some unresolved issues from their past. And for me 😅I still want to know if there is love out there for Cousin Jessie James with either victory or Terry 😂 I’m just saying 😂😂.

I LOVE THE LASSITER'S!!!!! I stumbled upon the Gems and Gents stories a couple of years ago and have devoured every last one of their stories. My book husband is Joshua. I was a little sad that he wasn't in the book as much, but it was kind of a good thing because nothing blew up...lol. Ms. Boiling did it again. I felt like I was right there at the wedding, it was described so beautifully. Everyone is married now!! I'm gonna cry....lol.

Solid Gold!
Thank you Ms. Bolling, Blake and Jade's wedding was the perfect way to end the Lassiter series and begin the next series. Sofia was as hateful as always and she deservedly reaped payback for every despicable thing she sowed. We also were able to see Samantha and some of the other teens, mentally and emotionally grew up. I know we will be hearing amazing things about them in the future. Awesome read!

What Can I say!
The whole series was fantastic! I just couldn't stop reading until I finished them all, because I fell in love with the families involved to the point I wanted to belong, it is about true love demonstrate so strongly by one family with enough to engulf all who were entered into their circle. I love this series and would love to keep the Lassiter Family, there is so much more that could be told about them!

Excellent Storyline
I'm Thoroughly happy With the outcome and characters in this book. Cynthia's mother is an evil devil and got what she deserved. I was so proud of Samantha and Brianna. I thought I was going to hyperventilate when all the Lassiter men Got off that elevator. Good writing and editing Ms. Bolling.

I love the Lassiters. And I guess Sophia got what she deserved. She was a horrible person. I ho0e we get more books about this great family. And I'm still waiting on Jesse James's story as well as Phire kicking some P.I.E. ass.

All I can say is OMG, this was the best of the best of the wedding series. Ms Bolling you should make this one into a movie, it will be a box office hit. I love the drama, the action, the love and the fun I loved all of it. I never expected the ending, but it was a nice change. I can’t wait until your next book.

Blake and Jade, the last one of the Jews to marry, evidently the affairs of the heart had to struggle with the mother/mother-in-law who is definitely have some mental,selfish and no decency to son or daughter, So ok;how long before another story because it seems like the Gents and Gems have all grown up!

Great book!
This was a great story and getting a piece of all the Lassiters was a gem. Thr romance and the intrigue was just what was called for. Sofia got just what she deserved. Blake and Jade's wedding was awesome. I loved this book can't wait to read the entire series. I highly recommend this series to my fellow romance readers you will not be disappointed .

Excellent read, I love the Characters and storyline. Blake and Jade are a great match. The wedding and all the various plots, was enjoyable. I can’t wait for the next book. There are so many possibilities for the next series. Will it be about Phire’s secret agency or the Connecticut Lassiters? I look forward to the next Iris Bolling novel.

Iris Bolling is a very talented writer. The Lassiter’s series is like no other. The characters are fierce, loving and totally devoted to family which is quite large. 12 siblings and when you add husbands and wives and children, I just don’t know how she does it. Start from the beginning so you don’t get confused. Happy reading!!!

Blake and Jade’s wedding was the perfect one ☝️ to end the series! It is absolutely amazing! Love continues to flow, relationships on the mending, and some relationships that definitely needed to end! What perfect ending! Now I can’t wait 😛 to see what the next generation is going to bring!

I absolutely love Blake and Jade and it was rather fitting that theirs would be the last wedding.
Blake and Jade are blissfully in love and can't wait to say their I do's but his mother Sofia Thornton is doing everything in her power to stop that from happening. If you read "Jade" then you already know the foolishness she was doing and how a long over due beat down finally came for her LOL!
As the count down begins, Blake and Jade are surrounded by family and friends, Jade has brought family into Blake's life (His sister is Cynthia Lassiter, she is married to Samuel Lassiter), and he in turn has brought her the love of her life.
And amazing story with lots of other stuff going on in between that does not detract from their story but sets up future stories.
I love the Lassiters and with Jade being the last of the Gems to get married this will wrap up their Gems and Gents series. What an amazing ride but I do have Book 3 to start, I actually skipped Matthew and Leah's story because I wanted to read Blake and Jade's story first, and now I am about to start their story.

A Love Lasting
I see you Ms. Iris, I loved this forever love story. Blake and Jade are at the beginning of their love journey and it only gets better with every step. Ms. Iris you have created a series that I am in awe of and want to mimic in my own world. Step out and take a bow, you have won me over. Onto the next series.
BTW: Who took out Sophia? Will we ever find out?

Wow
I have read most if not all of Iris Billing' s books. I have even read some twice. She is a dynamite novelist. She can cover so many topics in one novel and never lose your interest. All I can say is keep up the fantastic work. I will be there for you. 🙏
